I went in to pick up a few cakes to takeaway. There were four people working behind the counter. None of them were particularly busy and none of them seem that bothered about serving us. I asked the girls in front of me in the...queue if they were being served and they complained that nobody wanted to serve them. I went over to one of the girl called Claudia and asked if she could serve me. And she just ignored me. I should’ve left at that point, to be honest. After about three minutes, she decided to come over and serve me. I live around the corner and the cakes are very good but the customer service is so bad that I wonder whether it’s a toxic work atmosphere or if the staff are being paid on time. There’s a very high staff turnover. Every time I go there are new faces and recently the people working there give the impression that they’d rather be in hell.More
A lot of delicious cakes, cookies and sandwiches for a good price. We went here and had some perfect slices of cake. Definitely recommend the carrot cake!
Back in Valencia and tryed the licous doulce de leche chees cake.. which is marvelous. Staffa always happy and frindly and everything in a fair price.
It's a Argentina style of cakes kind of. Veryyy sweet which I love it!! Have been actually a few times in here.. try different cakes.. all delicious and service is quite good.
I've been staying in Valencia for a few months now and there's no bar better than this. The offer is incredible, from cakes to empanadas to croissants. They've definitely got the best bakery and good options for everyone. It's good price for the portions you...are getting and you can also get food from them in the evening with Too good to go. The environment is very nice, with nice tables and decoration. And the staff is very kind and well trained. Will definitely return, whether it's alone or with some company.More
I visited the place with my son. We both had fresh juice because we had a lovely bike ride tour of the city. The juice was so nice and yummy but quite small. There were many sweets and pastry choices but I try to stay...away from sugar. Maybe next time. Definitely worth visiting.More
We had just one cake each and we do not regret visiting this place. The cakes were really tasty (although a bit sweeter for my taste, but that's just very personal). I think you will enjoy having a dessert at this place 🤩
Excellent coffee shop in old town area of Valencia. Wide selection of coffee's, plus many options for breakfast with filled bagel, eggs benedict, filled croissants .. too many things to mention plus the pastries are great too! Lovely service and a great experience. 4 breakfasts...23 euro bargain !!More
We've just visited this coffee patisserie shop at "calle Jesus". My husband is recovering from a difficult surgery so we decided to go for a short walk. As he got tired we decided to get into the shop. My husband sat down on a table...whilst I joined the queue to place my order. After quite a few minutes of waiting I noticed that my husband was asked to leave the table being told that the shop's policy is that you have to place the order before even knowing that you would have a place to sit down. He was not given a chance to explain his situation. I dont think the firm cares about people with physical disabilities. They should know well that not all disabilities are visible and that those who suffer from them may not want to explain to complete strangers. It is clear to me that the firm main purpose is to make money disregarding personal customer care. Very disappointing!!More
Was recommended to come here for breakfast by the concierge at the hotel, and what a good recommendation. Had the eggs benedict breakfast, great start to the day
We went to this place a few times and were happy with both of our visits. I really liked the carrot cake I had, and my friend enjoyed her quiche. The portions are big enough to fully enjoy your meal. There is a great brunch/lunch...deal that starts at 1pm: you get a dish of the day, 1/2 of a sandwich, soft drink of your choice, and a dessert or coffee. Totals to EUR. There is no English menu, but the staff spoke English and managed to explain the options really well.More
It doesn’t matter what you order, it has too much sugar: cakes, horchata, drinks etc Take away cakes from the stand are frozen and don’t melt very well, also very expensive. Again too much sugar in everything, can feel how my teeth aches every time...I’m here. Service is poor and even rude, maybe the staff don’t care that much about it as they are probably just part timers.More
Just outside the city center in Russafa, a lovely place to try something sweet to go with your coffee.
Tried to get a table, place was super busy and not great for a relaxing breakfast on a Sunday. Cake tasted good hence the two starts but overall experience was diré. Would not repeat. Much nicer places around
