Clearly they don’t like non Spanish people, we sat outside for breakfast and the waitress was so rude, she served everyone bar us, we had to call her over, we asked for a food menu she said no food only croissants so we ordered 2...of them and hot drinks. She proceeded to bring out all these beautiful looking Spanish breakfast dishes to everyone bar us, our drinks were cold when she finally delivered them and 1 croissant came and the other maybe 15 minutes later after she had run around for everyone else. We have been in spain for 5 weeks and have struggled through ordering which is fine, we are visiting their country but have found over and over we just get ignored!More

This restaurant serves a fixed price menu with first, second and third courses. My daughter and I ate a late lunch outside. The food and service were both very good. My only complaint would be cigarette smoke from people walking past but the restaurant was...not at fault. One had the option to eat indoors. The restaurant was full of locals which is often a sure sign of quality and value. It’s a little off the beaten path about 10 mins from the major tourist attractions. Tip: pay inside.More

I happened to stop and eat here during a work break. The location is not the best, there is a lot of food but a little neglected and heavy .. Overall the flavors are good but difficult to digest and for example the fish is...brought to the table full of thorns without being clean .. Although the restaurant has menus of the day and very good lentils, in my opinion it needs to improve a lot, so my rating is two and a half stars. ⭐⭐½More

We called in for a Menu del Dia - three courses plus beer for €11.50 each. Hot and tasty food, freshly prepared - and full of Valencians. And the helpful waitress translated all the dishes for us. One to recommend.

We bumped into this place just by chance, the breakfast was surprisingly good and reasonably priced, the service was also very friendly in spite of peak hour.

The menu del dia is tasty and excellent value. We both started with beautifully presented sauteed vegetables, next were perfectly cooked calmares with vegetables and chips, and steamed mussels. For dessert it was grandmother's tart, a rich mixture of chocolate, custard, on flaky pastry. Service...was friendly and efficient.More

We're french but we live in England and as we decided to spend a week in Valencia with our 3 children, we invited my Dad (who lives in France) to join us for a few days so we could celebrate his birthday together. Our flat...was not far from the restaurant, and as we had been passing by frequently, we had noticed that it was always busy. We called them an hour before in order to book a table for 6. Our spanish is useless but somehow, we managed to converse in English and that was fine. The team was very friendly, and the food was really good. Between the 6 of us, we tried 4 different meals and the plates were all empty. We all enjoyed our experience in this lovely restaurant. The price was very good compared to what we usually pay here in England so don't hesitate, you can't go wrong with the Espinosa =] ! Thank you again to the whole team who made this moment even better.More

We came off the metro in Á. Guimera and walked aimlessly into town. We were both hungry and saw this place offering a 3 course lunch menu for around 10 euros, including a beer and a coffee. We sat down, had a great meal and...really enjoyed a good lunch with the locals, who seem to enjoy this place a lot. Thanks!More

We popped in here as it was opposite where we were staying and as we arrived late (11pm) we didn't want to look around for anywhere to eat. We had tapas which was prawns , potato dish and 4 vodkas (they were large measures) and...it was 36 euros which we were pleased with for 2 people. This wasn't sufficient for an evening meal but perfect for a late night snack. They stayed open until 1.30am ish. They then directed us to other bars that remained open longer as we were not ready to go to bed. We went back again a second time as we enjoyed this place so much. It is open from approx 7am but it only opens in the evening on weekends and I don't think it opens on Sunday's so keep this in mind if you plan a visit.More

This little café / restaurant opens for dinner late on Fridays and Saturdays. Our choice of it to dine was based on it looking nice and our staying in the aparthotel opposite. We weren't disappointed. It was quite busy when we went in at about...2200 on Saturday. There didn't seem to be a wine list as such, but we asked for a bottle of tinto and the waitress brought us a Vina Pomal at a very reasonable price. The food was quite excellent. Memorable highlights included a seaweed salad, cheese served several different ways, and a variety of sausages. Four dishes were about right for two of us. The ambience is more café than restaurant, but quite acceptable for a pleasant evening. Nice, helpful staff as well. Note the exceptional height of the urinal in the gents. Designed for tall people! We had breakfast here th efollowing morning, good coffee and tasty tapas.More
