We called in without booking as many restaurants were closed soon after Easter, and were shown to a table by a friendly host with a great view of the kitchen. Everything was clearly explained, a few of our questions were answered, and we ordered 3...dishes from the very creative tapas menu.
Dishes are prepared by the chef in an "open" kitchen. It was good to watch him prepare the food without any pretensions, but with great skill. It was clear that they had focused on simple dishes which looked and tasted great. They had also kept the whole operation small and intimate so that quality could be maintained, and it all worked very well. There was nice atmosphere, with the chef and host chatting to friends on the table next to us, but not allowing this to detract from the quality or service.
Mushroom Profiteroles were the unexpected highlight! Secreto de Iberico also very good, and excellent wine and coffee. Very good value also. Highly recommended.More
