Situated in the old city this is a good place to try local traditional drink horchata and those cute pastries which are traditionally soaked in it. You can find all the necessary things here: the menu is small but enough to satisfy your need for a short break (coffee, horchata, gelato, water, fartons). The staff is nice, the look of... More

Found this by chance as a guide was showing a group of tourists around and was stood outside it. We then had to goin for my first experience of horchata. Not to everyone's taste but when in Valencia..... It was lovely and very different to anything I'd tried before. Also had the best churros and hot chocolate. The building is... More

Every city has that special place and this is one of Valencia's. On my first trip my Spanish friend took me there, stop number one. I don't like Horchata but I was mesmerized by the place. It is an experience. The only down side is poor service... but don't let it stop your visit.

A Valencian MUST! The place is old and well kept. Service is friendly and fast. Right next to the St. Catalina Church, the Plaza Redonda and the Cathedral. In the winter their hot chocolate and churros are to die for. In the summer have some horchata with fartons to cool off. Beautiful and delicious place.

WHAT CAN i SAY. CHOCOLATE AND CHURROS. This sinfully delicious treat is so wonderful. I was in heaven once I tasted it. They make their name on this treat and it is well deserved. If you like chocolate, GO, you will not be disappointed..

Interesting looking place with a lot of tables available, but a little overrated. The menu at the entrance states the price of 1 churro, and yet the minimum you can order is 4.

I decided I'm not a fan of Horchata(!) but I still wanted to visit. They seem to play on the tourists and the history. Nice and cheap little cafe but somewhat overrated.

A Must when in Valencia. In the heart of Valencia. THE drink to quench your thirst especially in summer and the best in Valencia. My partner is Valenciano, so he knows. Try the chufa bars (kind of special "chocolate" bars, but made of the same product they make the famous horchata). Look around when sipping your Horchata. The tiles are... More

A great place to visit. They must have a really good horchata, but I really I did not like the way it tasted. May be it is definitely not for everyone, as it is a bit strong. The fartons are really tasty. The venue decoration is really interesting, maintaining a traditional look.
