Visiting Valencia for Las Fallas us a. Incredible experience, but finding a great restaurant is also part of the fun. It can be a challenge as the window to eat between Fallas activities and lunch dinner can be short. We had a great apartment across...from La Sorieta, so before heading to the Mascletá, we stopped by to see about a reservation. They were completely booked, but opted to squeeze us in anyway. We were so grateful. We got back from the blast quickly to retrieve our table and the restaurant did not disappoint. The service was friendly, and the food, especially the paella valenciana was superb. We enjoyed a lovely bottle of wine and loved the cozy atmosphere. The price was very reasonable for what we ordered and I would absolutely return.More

We had the traditional Valencian paella which was delicious and generous portions for the three of us. The staff were lovely and the place had a nice local feel (ours were the only English voices).

Charming family run restaurant in a side street of the old town. We had calamari and Valencian Paella with a pitcher of white sangria. Everything was excellent. The calamari was a huge portion and the best I’ve ever had.

Amazing black paella and baby cuttle fish!!! Service was quick and the staff were very friendly. I would recommend booking a table. A fair few walk-ins were turned away and the restaurant was full.

Felt very traditional and authentic. Staff was polite, food was tasty, for my taste a bit too salty, but still good and the portions were quite big. I would recommend this place to have a nice dinner with friends! (On the photo: pork cheeks with...caramelised onions and potatoes - the meat was very good)More

We had a delicious meal here, sitting outside even in February, with some heaters to keep us warm. We had oxtail croquettes and a seafood paella, followed by brownie and crema catalana, washed down by house red wine. It was very good and the service...was very friendly and extremely prompt and attentive. We loved it all. Watch out though - not open on Sunday evening or Monday, sadly for us as we planned to come back!More

As we were walking through town, we saw this restaurant on a quaint little side street. You can tell by the photos it is relaxing and welcoming. The food was great, the prices right and the ambiance fantastic. We sat outside but the inside is...just a nice. I only have two minor complaints. The service was a little slow, and they need to refurbish the men’s bathroom. Other than that, highly recommended!More

Trying to find an authentic place without booking in the centre of town on a Friday night isn't easy but had spotted this place on the way home before (rammed with locals - always a good sign). On a ridiculously hot night it was a...blessing that the only free table was indoor and under a fan. Lovely little tiled backroom with its own charm. Had two paellas (between four) and they were both very tasty - as you'd expect/hope bit a bit light on meat. Great wines and very friendly, welcoming and attentive service. The paellas, a bottle of wine, a beer and two soft drinks came to €69 which was pretty reasonable. Well worth a visit of you're in the old quarter and don't be put off if there are no tables outside.More

Would you update your details and website please. We reserved a table for lunch today via your website, after being given a choice of a 1.00 or 1.30 slot. We received a confirmation followed by a reminder of our booking just as we arrived. However...it was disappointing and annoying to find your restaurant well and truly closed, with another couple waiting and similarly disappointed.More

We choose the restaurants because of its Arroz negre reputation (black paella). What a nice surprise to find this restaurant with terrace in a little alley. The prices for wine encourage you to order bottle after bottle. The typical spanish tapas were bursting with flavours...and gave the chef (and us) all the time needed to prepare the paella (up to 40 min or so). Truthfully the black rice was a little bit too fishy for our taste but nevertheless a really nice experience.More

This place was by far best meal I had in Spain. I was in dire need of paella and this was the place to go. For €22,50 each my friend and I received 6 tapas, a large portion of seafood paella, and a dessert. The...father son duo were extremely kind and accommodating after a mishap with our reservation. Paella was like a grandmother made it. AmazingMore
