Picked this from good reviews on trip advisor but I would not recommend it after our visit. We opted for paella which was cold when it was served and contained little seafood. In its defence it's not an expensive place to eat.

This restaurant was recommended, but unfortunately a big disappointment. The lighting is very bright, could do with being less bright. We were are party of 7 and ordered 2 types of paella, one vegetation and one seafood. By the time it arrived at our table is was barely warm, and the seafood one seemed to have only 2 prawns per... The restaurant is bright and buzzy. The service was rather hit and miss. We had a party of 7 and ordered 2 different paellas. As the dishes could not fit it on the table they took them away and 15 minutes later brought back individual plates. unsurprisingly they were tepid. The seafood paella had 2 prawns per person. One of... More

We visited on Friday night. Ordered the paella Valenciana. It was ok but a bit on the salty side. Also not very generous with chicken and rabbit. The service was efficient, actually too efficient as they would take your plate as soon as you finished. It felt a bit rushed. The atmosphere was good.

Great paella Valencia style, and a very cool atmosphere in an old building. All the servers were very attentive and courteous. Great stop for lunch and would recommend.

Got the Valencia Paella and it was bland. The wine was very good but was very disappointed in everything else.

Canela was recommended to us by Karim, who's apartment we were staying in, we had the valencian paella and it was truly delicious! The setting is great, the service was amazing, the location is really central and so easy to get to. Really great price too.

Our hotel recommended Canela for a traditional Paella. We arrived without a reservation and were greeted and seated with mixed feelings. After we placed our order things became friendly and fun. They have a different person for taking food orders, wine order, delivering each dish, felt a bit confusing. The FOOD...started with fried cheese with berry jam - yum, had... More

Only did one step on that restaurant but the personnel was not welcoming, came in front of you without invitation you to wait or take a seat. Want asked how many time needed to take a seat the waitress just say later... The service is the first impression on a restaurant and that one was sufficient to not go further
