Tiny little tapas restaurant that is popular for a reason. We turned up just after 7pm when they opened and we stood at the bar and just kept ordering. I could have had more, lamb, pork, snails but was overruled by my better half. The...lady, Esther I think, spoke little English and struggled with my name for some reason, I mean it's not as if I'm Welsh, but we manged by pointing at the menu and other peoples dishes, especially the eel cassarole type dish (gorgeous) . The food was really amazing, the copius red wine was very decent and it came to about 47euro. I think we, I , ordered more than anybody else there it was that good. An absolute bargain of a place. GO.More

Excellent, very authentic Spanish tapas bar. Sardines are excellent, loads of garlic 😁 Quite small but just lovely, a great find

A very small bar with not much seating options, but with a limited, but great food menu. Mainly tapas. A favourite for locals and tourists. Good service.

Called in to this amazing little tapas bar tonight and had some of the best food,no frills but beautiful cooked. It was super busy but the welcome was warm,Ester and jesus work so hard to accommodate you. It is a very small place so go...there expecting to stand and eat your food...it is definitely worth it though!More

My girlfriend and I visited today after a rough day getting to Valencia and I found this spot in the lonely planet book! We arrived and go greeted quickly by the owner telling us he was out of Sardines - but no worries, all the...locals told us everything on the menu was brilliant and quickly recommended the Sepia (cuttlefish), mushroom and many more! We said to them send us anything and they did ! Everything we ate was gorgeous - and watching a couple like Jesus and Esther work together was amazing! How this place only has a 4 rating is a joke - we have been in Spain for 5 days and this place is the best !!More

Went here on the strength of a recommendation and glad we did. Small, chaotic, stand up establishment with great food and the hardest working couple (Jesus & Esther) in Valencia, these guys never stop cooking, serving, talking and laughing. Has an immensely enjoyable evening and...will return here next time we visit ValenciaMore

Quaint little restaurant run by a friendly couple, serving very delicious hearty tapas. The price was super, and the service very friendly. Would not recommend if you’re looking for fresh/cold options as all of them were savory and more on the oily side. But would...definitely recommend if you’re on the lookout for some comfort food. The sardines and eel were particularly delicious.More

Can’t believe one review said service was grumpy. We have been five times in so many days and Jesus and Esther are delightful! Jesus is always smiling. The sardines and mushrooms are beyond good. Going back tonight. Making myself hungry!

We went here following a recommendation and were somewhat surprised by how small it was and that there are no tables and chairs, just stools at the bar BUT the friendly service and quality of food was fabulous (particularly the sardines which are filleted, mushrooms...and pork kebabs). We left feeling as if we had had a true ‘local’ experience and would definitely go back. It is a place to have a quick supper not a leisurely meal.More
