I’ve been here several time, and I’m always surprised how good it is. They’ve made my birthday special, they are always really kind and the last octopus we’ve tried with lemon and thyme is just amazing.

I was there with my two sons and I was so happy to see that they also Baby menu :)
The food was delicious, I ordered something they call "Salpicón", absolutely delicious.
Then I tried the octopus with truffle...I never tasted something like this.
At the end, as we were in three, they served us three fried little balls with Nutella and pistachio,and my kids were so happy !!! Definitely a nice place to visit (like the whole city, actually) and such a great food.
And thanks for your special attention.

As the name may suggest, octopus plays the starring role in Pulpo restaurant's menu, which by the way is NOT limited to this. From starters to desserts, the key element is definitely love. Love for food, for life, for what you do. I rarely happen to find a place which makes me feel like I'm home, especially as far as food is concerned (I am Italian, so needless to say why!). Well.. From the very first moment I got into this nice, welcoming place, I was amazed by the personnel's kindness and by the excellent choice of seafood and wines. Much to my surprise (and happiness), I also found a touch of Calabria in one of the "Pulpo's specials" on the menu (sweet red onions of Tropea and nduja). The Boquerones "beccafico" were really good, but the crunchy octopus with mango sauce (Pulpo crujiente en salsa de mango) literally left me speechless. This is what happens when cooking is not just a job, but an authentic passion, which people can enjoy at a very honest price. I absolutely recommend it!

Me and a friend went here for a birthday dinner. The restaurant itself very beautifully decorated, lovely authentic personal touches. The service was the best quality, incredibly friendly staff with great attention to detail. They also accommodate to English speakers, and were able to provide us with an English menu. Also, the food of course was delicious. We had the mussels as appetizer and the risotto as a main, would recommend both. Perfect portions and very tasty. We also had a Lambrusco wine that we would also definitely recommend. Had an incredible time, thank you!

I went here for my partner's 40th birthday lunch and I could not have been happier. There's nothing that you can fault them on. The place looks lovely; the staff are wonderful, friendly, and adaptable; and the food is excellent. Very good for people with dietary issues. Instead of just removing things, they actually adapt the recipes when you can't have a certain ingredient. We really appreciate this as even many Michelin star restaurants just serve you plates with no sauce or some other poor version of the real dish. Here everyone at the table is treated like an equal.
A perfect experience. We went back twice in the same week when some family came to visit from out of town.
The Sascimi (raw fish) menu in specific was exquisite, with my favourite being the tuna belly with a touch of curry.

We went here with a famely for a lunch. We were very politely welcomed by a nice personnel. The waitress was also very well spoken in English and politely helpful with describing us different dishes that were in the menu. We ordered 3 course meal. Whole famely was very positivly suprised by the taste and also the ascetics of served meals. To give you an impresion I am also posting some photos. To experiance food taste I heartily suggest wisiting the restaurant :). I guarantee that with this restaurant regarding food, service and price you won't be disappointed at all. Giving 10/10 in the name of the whole family.

One of the biggest surprises for us this year. We’ve lived in Valencia for over 10 years! Why didn’t we know about this sooner? We decided to spend Mother’s Day here. A big risk as we have children aged 10 & 13. What can we say from the starters to each the desserts, each dish exceeded all our expectations. Everybody enjoyed each dish!!!
The chef has a unique twist in not only the presentation but also his combination and style of cuisine.
The decor and ambiance is perfect, especially with the outdoor seating area on the terrace. It’s clear the owners along with the staff have put their heart and soul into this place!
We returned agin last week.
Worth every cent!! ❤️

I was during Christmas period in this cozy restaurant and I was so surprised... I read something but it went beyond our expectations indeed ! I don't know what was better, if the fish tartare or the pasta with octopus sauce or the Gnocco with Nutella... Soooo good! Good price for the food we ate, excellent customer care. I live a bit far to come back,but never say never ...

Had a fantastic evening at Pulpo. Wonderful food and such a welcoming host in Nicolas. He was happy to explain all aspects of the menu and delighted in joining in on the birthday celebrations by producing a beautiful dessert and birthday candle!

Came for dinner with my family. The kids got off-the-menu yet amazing pasta with fresh baby-squids and lots of flavour, very impressive for the good service and care for the youngest guests. BTW our kids enjoied also the regular dishes which were very delicious, clearly made from fresh ingredients from the osean, and passion of tasty food.

From the ambience, to the excellent service I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. ANYTHING you order is a mix of flavors that are fresh and surprising. It's a perfect mix for a romantic dinner and a modern space to delight yourself. Will surely return soon!

Small cozy restaurant where you can eat for a reasonable amount (3 courses) for €45 per person. The French employee who speaks excellent English and Spanish was also able to provide us with an excellent Spanish wine. There were plenty of gluten-free options and very tasty.

I give an Ace because I can't give less.
Exorbitant prices of dishes and derisory amounts: the plate of squid 14€ and you are served 3 small chipsirones (not squid).
On the other hand, we were charged higher prices from the dishes than what they put on the paper menu they gave us and on the web (they claimed they were changing the menu).
Many dishes were not available.
Desserts at 9€, frozen and small pieces of cake.
The coffee, we were served a water cut that we had to ask to be changed. They did not have saccharin or any sweetener suitable for diabetics.
They also didn't have any brandy for the sack or baileys.
Bad experience and 39€ per person.

The restaurant looks nice and well cared for. The service is also very friendly. We were a bit disappointed with the food. Firstly, a number of dishes that were on the menu were not available. The prawns tempur were reasonable.
The main course, sea bass, was very disappointing. It seemed like the fish was not fresh but from the freezer. I left some of it behind. We also received an alternative to the turbot that was not there. That dish wasn't too bad. In short, 3 stars maximum. For the price, over 80 euros (2 glasses of wine, a coke, water and 2 coffees), we have had better.

Fantastic restaurant, very warm atmosphere. The treatment was very good and the owner was very attentive to ensure that everything was to our liking. Not to mention the food, spectacular, everything exquisite and you could tell that the products were fresh and of quality. We will surely return soon
