Great little place on one of the main streets in the Old Town. For the uninitiated (which I was) pinxtos are a dazzling variety of little snacks pinned to their bread base by little cocktail sticks. You just help yourself and at the end the waiter counts up the number of empty sticks on your plate. 2 euros a stick... More

Nice and always busy place, downstairs high tables for drinks and pinxtos, upstairs room for dining. We came in for drinks twice, one time with a large group and the waiter was clearly annoyed with us. Second time with a smaller group, the waiters were cranky again. Wine selection is nice and the pinxtos tasted good as well.

A bit touristy but the tapas are good, well varied and reasonable value for money. Service is good and hot dishes are circulated on a regular basis.Worth popping in for a snack or, if you are not an aficianado of tapas, a more expansive repast. If it looks full when you pop your head round the door don't worry there... More

We loved our evening here. As others have mentioned you take whatever tapas you want and they charge you by the amount of cocktail sticks you have on your plate. A great variety of pinchos and everything we had was delicious. As well as the cold option on the bar there were staff bringing plates of hot tapas out to... More

Wow, wow and still wow-ing! We had the best tapas in the town and came back after 2 hours walking to have some more. That delicious they are! You must go there. :)

Sagardi has a nice tapas bar on the ground floor and the restaurant is on the first floor. Tapas are excellent! Try this even if you have booked a table in the restaurant. Food in the restaurant is also excellent, great wines, even the cheapest wine is alredy perfect! The service is very attent and of high professional level.

We had a lovely meal. The restaurant had been recommended to us by the staff at our hotel and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was very roomy and the staff were very friendly and helpful but we do speak Spanish so this may help us.

You really need to take time to visit this very special place in the city center with the best pintxos ('pinchos') ever: Basque tapas on crunchy bread. Get in, order a drink, get a plate and choose about four pintxos to start with, right from the counter. Look for a seat inside (high chairs, round tables, superb busy atmosphere) or... More
