I have visited La Ola many times for cocktails and food, both are great. What impressed me most the last time was that I brought my parents, one almost blind and the other aided with a walking stick. Jiovannis (forgive my spelling) our waiter looked after us and ensured we have a fantastic experience. The food is good from typically Spanish garlic prawns to lamb chops, fish also good. Flying back next week and already planned another meal at La Ola, looking forward to seeing you Jiovannis! Thanks Simon.

We went 3 to dinner, a diner ordered chicken roll, they served him veal roll, very salty, which for kindness did not return, once started and ate it by someone else.

Nice staff, nice drinks, nice location, and nice pizza. I can't speak for how the restaurant is during lunch cause we only had dinner, but I would recommend reservations. we found the place very spontaneously and the staff seemed stressed but all in all, still a very good experience.

A great spot for more casual dining, wide selection of starters, burgers, kebabs, pizzas. Lovely cocktails too. I noticed they do take away which is good to see. We had a beef burger, chicken burger and kebab, everyone was very happy with their meal. Staff were accommodating, friendly and attentive. Will return.

We had dinner at this restaurant and were very impressed. Excellent food, friendly staff and reasonably priced. We returned with friends for lunch and were not disappointed. Staff were friendly and attentive, food outstanding. Although there is no "menu del dia" the food still represents good value. The only minor grumble I had was that having booked a table for five online there wasn't one reserved. Luckily they easily fitted us in.

Terribly bad food at La Ola restaurant in Torrevieja. There was a sausage in the vegan lentil soup, the salmon was raw and the garnishes and bad tasting rucolas were just thrown onto the plate. The waiter's behaviour was rude and indifferent. I did not eat. Don't try it!

Unfriendly staff; average food.
Been here a few times to see if previous few visits were unusual for the staff but after my last visit I’m not keen on returning. 2 waiters in particular are rude, keep ignoring me when I’m trying to get their attention.
Positive is it’s in a great location and the food and wine are ok. Prices are reasonable.
Plenty of other restaurants nearby which are a lot better.

I ordered a starter of fried seafood. When it was brought to the table I noticed that the dish smelled spoiled. Everything looked good and I thought, OK, maybe it just looks like that. I started eating. Yes. Terrible taste. Smelled very bad. Spoiled. I told the waiter but she ignored me. A sorry came back and the dish was still added to our bill. That's outrageous. Never again la ola in Torrevieja. Not recommended. I upset my stomach with 2 small pieces that I tried.

A let down, barely any food, and the fish wasn’t clear of bones. My friend and I ordered salmon and fish and chips. I think it’s the first time I ever seen bones in fish and chips. Don’t think they even bothered to clean the fish from it.
Mojitos were strong (can be a good thing hence the two stars) but didn’t taste or look like mojito. Service wasn’t good, they seemed just bothered by our presence.
Would not recommend.

My complaint is about service . Staff is not trained properly as result disrespect and ignoring clients. Also confuse with orders( bill can be higher than you expected). Waiting time for anything ~ 30-60 minutes.

Great location and nice view. Far too many guests in relation to capacity. Three times we were reminded of drinks for the child. Dirty straw for the baby. Black hair both in drink and food. They confused one of our dishes with the next door table. The tuna was like a hard sole. Almost inedible. Missed giving us one of four dishes. Although we reminded, it never came. God pizza. Good gambas. Good house wine. Not recommended.

Nice location and lot of things on the menu, however this is a place to go if you are looking for a pretty cheap meal and ok food.
It can be very different experience depending which staff you get. Pizzas are pretty decent, the starters are ok, some little overpriced but if you choose chipirones they are good. Basically a ok place to eat a cheap meal like pizza, burger, kebab

So good we went back 2 nights in a row. 1st night we had the spaghetti carbonara and s bottle of excellent Spanish Rioja. Next night we had the paella and another excellent wine.
Very friendly staff, even after we accidentally broke a wine glass.
Would go back again if we are ever in Torrevieja in the future.
