I have gone around Pamplona for pintxos a year now and Gaucho is the one we always go back to. Never a pintxo which is boring and all are really well made. Naturally, you must try their foie - if you want a better one you will have to go to Sanse and even there you must get lucky. Service... More

Based on other reviews my partner and I felt we had to try this place on a recent visit to Pamplona. We also tried a few other tapas bars close by and in my opinion, this outstripped the competition, by quite a margin. Pleasant service, in a very busy bar, with good freshly prepared food. Definitely worth a visit, if... More

This place is super crowded and the hard part is finding a place to sit. I was here with two friends and it took us awhile, but it was so worth it! The tapas are varied and delicious! Highly recommend this place but be prepared to wait.

We read about this place on Trip Advisor and we weren't disappointed. There are lots of unusual tapas. We tried sea urchin and octopus. The place was really busy so had lots of atmosphere. Not too expensive.

Wonderful place on a side street. Visiting our son while he's attending university. He & his friends highly recommended this bar. Tried several Pintxos including the sea urchin. Very good & the Vino Tinto was also excellent. A must stop on the tour of bars in Pamplona!

I was put off this spot because it was deemed to be a tourist 'must' but wandered in accidentally one night and was blown away by the quality of the pintxos and wines that we enjoyed. While there are cheaper places to eat pintxos we didn't find anywhere that provided the quality that Gaucho provided. Staff were efficient and friendly... More

Small crowded place near the main plaza, more pricey than others but definetly worth to try as pinxtos here are so different from usual bread + cover type. There are ones with duck liver in the tiny soup, bacalo on tomato dish, croquettes etc. Go and try at least some.

Really good Tapas. It can get pretty crowded though at peak times. I especially like anything with shrimp. The blue cheese spread on bread was a nice surprise. Liked it more than o expected. I didn't try it, but I saw another customer with a plate of sliced prosciutto type ham for 10 euro that looked good. Most items are... More

Great small and extremely busy bar with great pinxto and wine, situated just off the main square so ideally placed for people watching and watching the world go by

Exhausted after the overnight into Madrid and the train to Pamplona. We are off to walk the Camino tomorrow and wanted an easy, delicious option. Bar Gaucho had great reviews so we went for it. The tapas (pinchos here in Pamplona) were on display. They go like hot cakes. All were good especially the duck liver BUT the Huevo with... More
