Well, what can I say about this restaurant? Exceptional, delicious, presentable, polite, nothing was too much trouble. Would go again for sure the next time I'm in Murcia. We stayed in the Hotel Cetina opposite which was excellent value for money. Both are in a fantastic location for Cathedral or Bull Ring. This is where we saw Tom Jones. Brilliant... More

If you have to impress someone, drive straight to the Hispano. Balta and his brother are always ready to provide of many classic tapas but with a modern nice touch. Here you will not going to find attractive waiters or young people. Instead, the classical high society of town. Don't forget to try any of their nice starters, then fish... More

The hispano was recommended to us by several local Murcianas when we asked for a good place for local Arroz dishes. The welcome was very smooth and friendly, the service throughout was recommendable and pleasant. The quality was excellent, we had the Arroz a Banda. Exquisite taste! We couldnt resist the presented sweets trolley and had some local ( all... More

Went here on the recommendation of friends. Food was excellent. The staff very friendly and accommodating. We had some small kids in the party and they were accommodated with a mixture of on and off menu food. The desert trolley was truly excellent ! The "lemon bomb" thing on the top of the trolley was superb. Not cheap but worth... More

We ended up here by accident, but found the restaurant one of the better choices in Murcia. We tried the rice and pasta dishes and found them very good, but too salty. The staff and service we had were the best we've had on our long trip in Spain which has included Madrid and Cuenca.

Had tapas lunch here with the family and was very impressed. No English spoken which wasn't an issue we allowed the waiter to select a range of tapas for us which were all superb. Russian salad with a fresh tuna salad came first followed by Iberico ham, mini hamburgers and a mixture of croquettes. Waiter brought homemade fries for our... More

I was recently here for the celebration of a christening and I was amazed by the quality of the food we were served. The entrants, the rice and the mains, they were all great. Fabulous!

A mixture of classic typical Murcia dishes and some more experimental dishes. The restaurant itself is very beautiful, well laid out and always very popular. Yes, there are people with children and people talking loudly but do not forget that this is a restaurant after all. For me this enchances the atmosphere. It never became too much. The food was... Indoors, this resto is quite nice. The food is unusual and traditional, with tapas being their specialty. The tuna burger is delicious, and the bacalao croqueta also worth the order. But for some of the other things we got, it was just over priced. One jamon croqueta that was nothing close to any of the others we've had during the... More
