Sunday Buffet lunch at the Amapola is a tradition and a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon with friends. The food is always well prepared with a wonderful array of all kinds of choices. The price is 35 Euros per head. Now we have a huge gripe. All 8 of us present - all Sunday lunch regulars - were... More

The food on the whole is fantastic, Sunday is a buffet, the starters, as always winning first prize, with a huge choice, to cater for all tastes. The main course a little disappointing, and someone needs to show them how to make Yorkshire puddings. The desserts look a little processed, but are quite nice.. The staff are very friendly and... After traveling all the continents me and wife visited La Manga Club Amapola Restaurant. Different from the first experience one week ago, now it was up to the standard. Service friendly and polite, filled was almost to the expectations, staff earned all the points and finally, desert awesomely great. Interior could be better decorated eg. some flowers candles etc and... More

My wife and I ate at the Amaploma restaurant at the La Manga Club Hotel / Resort and it was fantastic, great food and wine - the table was on the terrace overlooking the La Manga Club golf resort. Fantastic service as well...

Lovely restaurant with wonderful food, head waiter was very helpful and great when selecting the wine. All three main course dishes were well presented and perfectly cooked. The restaurant is the main venue inside the hotel and highly recommended, thumbs up and really enjoyed the Basagoiti Rioja wine, perfect.

fresh ingredients , but clearly made by a chef who is trying to be avant garde but has no sense of taste. stick to the simple dishes such as dorada in salt. shame as its such a beautiful location. come on guys get a proper chef !

We had dinner in the Amapola for the first time in years and found the staff attentive and service prompt. The free appetisers were delicious and the bread was served warm with salt and oil. However we did feel that both the Iberian Pork and the vegetables were way too salty. The sweet I had was delicious but would have... More

This restaurant is well worth a visit - particularly early evening when the air cools and the place is busy enough but before the mad rush and you can't get a seat. Great food at a fair price.

Have not been for a while so was really looking forward to this and it was my husband's birthday so we had high expectations having told them this fact when booking. Service was slow, 46 minutes between starter and main course. Ordered pork rice dish which was chewy and the rice was a bland plate of sludge. Our starters were... More
