Very rude staff whose only response was irate when not ordering quickly enough. Similar response from staff inside when asking for la quenta. Glad we didn't eat there.

Awful. Wandered to the restaurant and sat outside. The drinks were served straight away and we ordered food at lunchtime - about 2’O Clock. Kids ordered chicken burgers and only one came out. The chips were floppier than a wet wotsit and greasier than an...Italian 2nd hand car salesman. How hard is it to serve hot, crispy chips? The burger was frozen food and just a bit meh. In the end the kids had half a burger each, as the other one just didn’t appear. My wife’s caesar salad was edible but far too much sauce and cheese - she ordered it as a healthier option and now neede to run 5K to run it off. Cheers. My “especial” sandwich was misplaced for something pink in a bun. A bit of Mr Blobbys leg maybe? Unidentifiable to be honest. Thankfully they took it away and replaced it with my original order. The “Especial” was spanish ham, but thick cut and fatty, with chorizo and Pork Belly. When i say “Pork Belly” it was actually just a lump of fat. My heart valves twitched as i took a bite. Nah. “Especial” should be renamed El Lardo. Gross. As the bill appeared, the 2nd Chicken sandwich appeared, but at that point we had given up the will to exist so declined. 40 Euros later we left and immediately all turned Vegan for the rest of our lives.More
Good menu and nice atmosphere, and it was about the only restaurant that wasn't packed on a Sunday at lunch time in Cartagena. Now we know why. Service was acceptable and the food could have been bette if served hot, everythimg was served lukewarm to...cold. We had to send two out of three dishes back to be reheated. It appears that the kitchen is not in the premises as they brought the food through the front door. That probable explains why it was cold, it also took a long time between dishes.More
Terrific. Wonderful wine and the pork cheeks were fantastic. Great service. Wonderful as an Englush tourist. Gratias!
I would like to say to all of this people who are coming from abroad, that I live in Cambridge where the food, service and staff doesn't commit any standards compared with the food and the service in Spain. So I would like to say...too, to all of this people that in their countries they wait even for hours, without saying a word, being polite & respectful, so then, why are they so demanding when they are coming to Spain?. No country is better than other, no people are better than other. So please be respectful, because in England even in very good restaurants the food is odd, compared to this restaurant. I also would like to highlight that in UK, no one has attending me in Spanish. I learnt English. This products are tasteful and have no comparison with the food that you eat in UK. However, if you want an extremely good service, with an English waiter you can go to a 5 stars hotel and of course pay a lot more.More
Ordered tomato bread with ham, garlic prawns and sausage with chips. The bread was ok, sausage and chips very greasy with soggy fries. Worst were the prawns which looked like they had been boiled and dropped into a dish of unpleasant tasty liquid. The prawns...were chewy and tasteless and we could not eat them. The waiter asked if there was a problem and we told him they were awful, no adjustment was made to our bill. On the positive side the beer was cool and refreshing. Would not eat here again but would happily have a drink as I assume the chef would not get involved with them.More
Almost nobody staff speaks English with even minimum standards. Firstly I was waiting for bad english speaking waiter and nobody cares for client. He was taking me just a second for relocating me to smaller table and handing a menu. Next 10 min I was...trying to catch him running past me. Finally when he realized I need just a coffee he turned me out scramming It’s Restaurant!.. waiting outside! I was waiting enough that night. I’ll never see foot on that place againMore
Arrived while busy but abysmal service staff just walking past and ignoring calls to order....other tables given wrong orders ...plenty of staff just totally poor managing of customers... obviously wont be coming here again while plenty of other lovely eating places in this beautiful city......More
Good menu of the day, the waiter recommended the roast pork on the bone with potatoes and it was excellent. A busy locals bar with friendly service.
My girlfriend and I found this little tapas bar down a side street off the main thoroughfare in Cartagena whilst out looking for an authentic Spanish dining experience. We were not disappointed, the menu had a range of ham and cheese boards along with the...ubiquitous croquettes which were all delicious. The ambiance was fantastic too, with the cured hams hanging on display in the window to whet your appetite and the reassuring sound of native Spanish speakers all around. After a fantastic evening the bill arrived as a further pleasant surprise, in fact we liked the Nuestra so much we went back the next day for brunch. Would definitely recommend.More
Should be good....isn’t. With the hams hanging this all appears good but our plate of Ibérico Jamón was truly awful and was cut with a blunt axe by the looks of it. The guy cutting didn’t have a clue and we got bacon thick ‘jamón...ibérico’. Worst I’ve ever had in Spain and I found myself apologising to our friends who had never had Jamón Ibérico before. There was no melt in the mouth experience here. Don’t bother with this place.More
In this restaurant you can find whatever you want related with spanish traditional food. Is a good place also to have a typical lunch or tapas. The staff is totally involved in customer service. If you are in Cartagena, visit it! Don´t let it go!
Happened upon this place while walking through Cartagena. Board outside offered 3-course prix fixe lunch for 10 euros. This included salad or soup (the mixed salad was a little disappointing, but the soup was fine), choice of three main courses (including a tuna steak, which...was delicious), plus bread, drink, dessert and coffee. Service was a bit distant, but this isn't a Michelin starred place either. (And we were the only tourists in the joint, FWIW.)More
Our drinks came quickly, but after waiting for half an hour with no food in sight, on enquiring where our meat and cheese platter was it turned out that they'd forgotten about us! We weren't in a rush but would have appreciated an apology. When...we got our food it was good, but nothing special. We were there for dinner but I imagine it would be good to go for lunch.More
Basic food, staff rude. Would rather her get more guests in than treat the ones they have well. Took ages to serve us when we wanted things and then rushed us when we didn't.
