Saw this as Eater’s Best Essential 38....and was not disappointed! The steak tartare with pommes frites was probably the best I’ve ever had because the hot/cold combo is edgy and punctuated. The ‘faux’ cannelloni is must as so ethereal that we think of it almost...More

Beautiful old restaurant with excellent wine list and food. Muga reserve red wine from Rioja was excellent complement to outstanding dinner in outside protected terrace. Loved the mussels in olive oil and garlic and Iberico and figs . Sommelier speaks English and is very helpful....More

The title is the highest accolade I can give to any restaurant. This is a neighborhood restaurant, crowded and rushed but the food is excellent. I already have it on my list for my next visit to Madrid.

Go! I had the best fish I have eaten in a while. All locals and no tourists. I loved it and cannot wait to go back!! Best steak tartar!

We went for a dinner on a warm summer evening. The restaurant is hidden in a small street between buildings. To easily find it, look for Rubaiyat’s terrace and it is next to it. Very nice garden to eat, with trees and plenty of space...More

Impressive and thorough cook. I understand it might be difficult to book a table if you don't do it way in advance, but even if it's full, leave them your phone in case someone lets their table down. If you like food, and you are...More

The restaurant is a bit tricky to find, not exactly going out of its way to advertise itself, located down a siding, and rather than displaying the name 'SACHA', it has its full title 'Botilleria y Fogon Sacha' in non too bold lettering. Even the...More

Eating a good fish in Madrid is feasible in this restaurant.. the question is: Is it so good that is worth the price you pay for it? The waiters are even classic at the way of looking at you. I went here with a friend...More

This restaurant is the opposite of a set lunch menu. They are particularly strong on seafood, however they are very accomodating, so they would probably be willing to fix something up for you.
