This place is amazing. I have had Sangria from 4 different places and these people stand out. Amazing flavour... right amount of alcohol and a lot of fruits. Authentic...the way it is supposed to be. The portions they serve is big. Best meat platter in town. A must visit.

You know the main rule when spotting a restaurant, you shoud spot where the locals hang out.... I found out this restaurant the same way and I was taken aback by my experience. We ordered the meat platter around 22€. What a bargain! Delicious. Perfectly cooked and gigantic ribs with the slow-cookee pink halo, which many tourists likely turn away as being under-done (uneducated fools!). Medium-rare succulent steak by default. And BBQ churrasco chicken made to perfection. All served with a salad and fries. We were defeated in the end having to gain... More

We were looking for somewhere to watch the Euro 2016 semi final between France & Germany and noticed that they had a large screen in here.We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and chatted to Canadians and Americans about the game, The atmosphere was pleasant and we came for drinks on another night. It was interesting that on the... More

The portions are large and the waitress was friendly enough to warn about it. I would not call them as "tapas" but "raciones" instead. They don't use "tapas" either in the menu, so if you looking to order several small plates of different food this might not be the right place for you. The quality of the food is excellent.... More

Arrived to watch the Euro Final and were greeted with amazing customer service & delicious, affordable drinks and food! The beef dish was HUGE and so tasty. Two main meals & 3 drinks each - less than €40! One of the best evenings we had in Madrid.

Neighborhood Profile
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.
