We got there about 12.50 (which is early) last Sunday and yet there people already queuing outside waiting for the restaurant to open at 1 o clock. The food and service were both excellent and the atmosphere was buzzing.

Casa Lucio was recommended to me last night by a native of Madrid- of course I couldn't get a reservation. I came early 12:45 to Taberna Los Lucio & a line formed behind me. It was the best meal I've in Spain in 11 days....More

Managed to get a table on our second attempt. They don't take bookings, you have to wait in the small bar area until a table becomes available. Had to give up on our first try. It gets very packed, but well worth the wait. It's...More

This place was crowded which is normal on Friday night. We waited about an hour for a table but drank some delicious wine while we waited. Once seated, it was a tight fit since there was 6 of us and it's a small place. However,...More

The speciality of the house, as the name suggests, is Huevos (eggs) in a variety of forms. The dish we ordered effectively amounted to egg, chips and bacon on paper, but in fact was a beautiful marriage of those components. As one of the complaining...More

This place gets very busy but there is an excellent selection of wine and food. The specialty are the egg dishes which are simple but delicious. Not had a bad plate of food here over the years but always feel a bit hemmed in.

Known to locals as "Taberna Lucio," this place is an institution, though not on the level of Casa Lucio, its older brother on the other side of the street. Came on the recommendation of an old friend, got seated in the special table in the...More

Good atmosphere, packed restaurant, though little space and a little shortage in ventilation. Tasty Croquet and green salad.

On entering this long thin taberna the first thing that catches the eye are immense bowls of eggs on the counter - for this is the house speciality - eggs in various guises all of which are pretty damn good if our visit was anything...More

Our diner was very lively and with very Spanish tipical dishes and drinks. It was overcrowded which is always a good sign.

La Latina
La Latina is a charming neighborhood with two unique
personalities. At first glance, it’s distinctly
old-world, with narrow streets weaving a maze among
charming stone buildings in sunny, bright colors like
yellow and pink. The other side of La Latina is
characterized by a young population and a bohemian
vibe, as evidenced by a dynamic and evolving selection
of new bars, shops, coworking spaces, and other
