It was my first time to eat here and I loved everything that we ordered especially the risotto! The drinks that were served to us were really good. Luis was very nice and gave us free blueberry cheesecake :) Will definitely come back here again....<3More
We were looking to celebrate our last day in Madrid with a good meal and stumbled upon Taberna Mas Al Sur in walking distance from our hotel. We were greeted very warmly by Matias who was part of the morning team. We were the first...ones in the empty restaurant but soon, the restaurant began to fill up and it looks like it was a popular spot for lunch. I told Matias that I wanted to have seafood and he recommended the seafood paella. We also ordered the risotto and both were excellent dishes. Food came out promptly and eventhough the restaurant got busy, the morning team continuously gave excellent service and never gave us any less attention. I've already saved this restaurant in my favourites list so that I know where to find it when I come back to Madrid again. Highly recommended and hope to see Matias again soon! If in doubt, get the risotto!More
I don’t understand the 5 star reviews. Do people have that low standards?? Honestly the restaurant is small with no particular decor, the menu is small without any staples, the food was average. I expected more fish options but it wasn’t the case. Only the...service and waiters are amazing.More
Overall I was a bit disappointed by the restaurant as the reviews are so over the top, but I can say the calamari rings were the best I have eaten in a long time. They had the perfect amount of bread and were tender, not...chewy. We also had a salad (not special) and then salmon with melted cheese on top. We ordered this as we thought it was interesting. It was interesting but the salmon was overcooked so it was quite dry. I wouldn't order that again. Our server was very helpful and attentive. Overall a fine experience but I think there are better tapas bars in town.More
