We visited this restaurant during our stay in Madrid and like it. The seafood plate is very good. It is better to order seafood in this restaurant. My husband ordered lamb in addition and the portion was very small not worth the money. But in...More

A small seafood restaurant with racione-style plates of seafood - fish, shrimp, prawns, and mussels. We picked out the seafood we wanted which was displayed on a counter across from our table in this small restaurant. Service was okay, but not great, given our limited...More

While walking around the heart of Madrid, near plaza Callao, I stumbled upon this place. Very unassuming from the outside but very cozy and quaint on the inside. Their daily 13€ menu was delicious, it included 2 appetizers, a main entree, dessert, bread and a...More

The other reviews were spot on, this a great place to go for seafood. I had marinaded mussels for starters, but as before that was given 4 steamed ones for free, and they were big ones too. For mains I had the grilled sole, amazing...More

I'd had such amazing fried squid at the Mercato San Miguel that I wanted to continue with seafood for dinner. I can see how this restaurant can get favorable reviews, but our experience was mixed, and the decor, while charming if it was still 1989,...More

We really enjoyed this lovely little restaurant which was packed with locals. We hadn't booked and were lucky to get a table. The 3 course lunch menu cost €12.50 per person and included a free tapas of mussels and 1/2 bottle of very good wine...More

It rained in Madrid! This is on a pedestrianised street off Gran Via. We booked for 2pm, but rain got us there earlier! I ate off menu, companion carta. Staff were friendly, spoke enough English for us to get by with “Spanglais”! Would go again...More

I came here with high hopes. The menu looks very interesting. However in reality the food was very disappointing indeed. The menu del Dia is vastly overpriced at€14.80. I have eaten at over 40 restaurants in Madrid and sampled many fantastic menu del Dias priced...More

I went there for lunch around 3 pm, the restaurant was almost full. During lunch, they have menu del dia, which is around 13 euros. The food arrives very fast. If you choose wine, they bring half a bottle of wine per person. The food...More

Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street
performers, colorful lights, window shopping,
restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and
churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a
collection of plazas interconnected by a network of
side streets. Some of these side streets are wide
pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so

We walked in off the street and had no problem getting a table. Admittedly it was raining on the night and not many people about. Check their web site and put in a request.
