Nice small sized restaurant. We researched some good Indian restaurants in Madrid and landed up here. Unfortunately, did not make prior reservations. So when landed, the staff (owner and some waiters) was stiff in even attending us or giving us an option to be seated. They just said, no reservations, sorry come back in 2 hours. They did not even... More

This place is authentic Indian food! It is very very good. The tandoori chicken was amazing. The butter chicken was great as well. The lamb was good but a little too spicey for my liking. I would of given this restaurant 5 stars had they just had an English menu and the service was just a little slow. The food... More

I am a big fan of Indian food and I can honestly say this was one of the best I've ever had. Great service, even better food. Reasonably priced for the quality of the meal.

This is the best Indian restaurant in Madrid. I have tried others and they pale in comparison. Service is impeccable, food is delicious and authentic and the wine list is excellent and refreshingly updated. Big fan; I have visited the restaurant monthly in the past six months.

Good Indian food, but not very dynamic (somewhat flat flavors). The meat was somewhat dry. Mainly good due to the options in Madrid.

First make sure you call ahead and reserve your table!!!! Once in the décor is excellent, the staff are very friendly but most impressive is that the owner helps and assists in the ordering and personally presents each order!!! If you like 🌶🌶🌶 ( spicy)hot this is the place. Very good portions. For veggies great selection, and for non-veg the... More

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighborhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
