We stumbled upon this very small tapas bar that serves meals. Creative, inventive, delicious, friendly. The chef has invented dishes and has combined ingredients to create a marvelous sensory experience. Run, don’t walk. This young man has the talent to be a major player on...the culinary stage. The bar woman was kind, welcoming and helpful too. Some English was spoken, enough to get us the best meal in Madrid.More

Had a quick lunch here while I was in Madrid waiting for the train. Very close to the Atocha station. Great service, excellent food. Had the plate of the day, simple, well cooked and well priced. Small place so would recommend going early.

This is a small restaurant and requires bookings, we were unable to be seated the first night but made a booking for the next. The service was particularly good, English was well spoken and the complicated menu was well explained to us prior to eating....All of the food came in a timely manner and was well presented. The flavours were appreciated by all of our group, some of whom are fussy eaters. Good selection of drinks offered and appreciated. Would recommend highly if in this area.More

We had a lunch at this place. I am highly unsatisfied with the service. We finished the food and ordered a taxi. There was a heavy rain outside and we expected to wait for a taxi inside after we paid quite a high price for...our food. But waiters started to push us out... Despite quite a goos food the mood is spoiled.More

One of many small bars around but this place is special. Beautifully decorated, cosy atmosphere and knowledgeable staff. The food is amazing - certainly not your average tapas bar. A bit out of the way but definitely go there - an easy walk from central...Lavapies and Atocha station.More

We met with friends there. We enjoyed the affordable food and vine. It is very small, so we recommend to make a reservation. The people are friendly and explain all you want to know about food and drinks. They made it possible also to satisfy...vegetarians. I like this restaurant and the people running this location - thank you! It was a pleasure to spent time with you.More

The first impression might fool you: it looks like the average bar in Madrid, but then the food comes and you realize it's a very special place! Short menu with a lot of added specials. Great beer menu. On top of it, family-run place!

We ate here in November, 2017, and looked forward to returning. We were not disappointed! This place is small, it sits 22 at a few tables and maybe 4 at bar stools. A reservation during peak Spanish eating hours is advised. The chef comes up...with some very interesting combinations, both in meat/seafood category and in vegetarian choices. We had a shiitake mushroom dish with black garlic under an lid of baked egg white merengue beaten with honey. Totally delicious. I ran right out and bought some black garlic to take back to USA! The service is causal in a very friendly manner, with English spoken, but this place isn't visited much by tourists due to its location off the beaten track. It little on the expensive side for mid range, but not too bad. With wine one filling 3 course lunch with wine was 52 Euros and the other was 68 EurosMore

A great little neighborhood tavern, small and friendly, with delicious, reasonably priced food. I was there alone, and felt very well taken care of.
