This was our daughter's favorite restaurant when she was studying abroad in Madrid and she couldn't wait to take us when we visited. The roast chicken and croquettes were delicious and we loved the fermented cider.

Ate here for dinner. Had the chicken, salad and cider. The chickens have the wings removed and are then cooked in gas fired rotisserie ovens. The chicken came cut up on a serving plate and was warm in temperature. The salad was lettuce, tomatoes, onion...More

We made a lunch reservation to dine here. Food - Very good! The roast chicken was worth the long walk from Templo de Debod. We are average-sized eaters, and the portion was very large! We could just about finish it, but couldn't have a proper...More

Casa Mingo is the oldest cider house in Madrid, and possibly the oldest in Spain, since it opened in 1888, when it had not yet reached 60 years of the death of the great painter Francisco de Goya, who lighted up with his frescos the close hermitages of San Antonio de la Florida, designed by Ventura Rodriguez, also author of the Prado Museum, which you cannot miss, standing in a place that was considered as Real Site on the banks of the Manzanares river, as an extension of Campo del Moro's gardens and the rest of the Royal Palace gardens. To eat well in Madrid choose Casa Mingo. Try one of our famous roasted chicken. All accompanied by a bottle of cider to round out the menu and go home with very good taste. Do not forget, no place like Casa Mingo to eat well in Madrid.
