The bar has great decor and atmosphere, almost a museum to bullfighting. Drinks and staff ok, tapas awful, some stewed offal shoved in front of you. No thanks

Great bar and tapas inside the plaza mayor Our waiter was so attentive and very professional Tapas and Wine was exquisite The only problem was that i noticed the place is a little bit overpriced but the rest no complaints I recommend this place
Disinterested waiter. Poor value for money. Tiny glass of wine 4.50, small salad 10. Garlic shrimps the most expensive we've seen at nearly 20. Dirty toilets with no paper. Give your custom elsewhere.
This is an iconic bar in Plaza Mayor. The inside bar is very small and walls are covered with photos of bullfighters and bulls heads. Great tapas and wonderful employees. You can stand inside or sit outside. Worth the visit.
Really nice bar to sit and watch the world go by in centre of madrid. Get the tapas from inside rather than the food on menu.
Very small premises. huge terrace. Its all avout the bull bere ! Lots of bulls and bull fighting stuff adorn the walls inside. Lovely sunny terrace. Service very good for area which is generally quite poor in the square. Very enjoyable.
Absolutely the worst coffee you can buy for 3.50€. Also the service was not really good. Definetely would not recommend.
Very rude establishment! It’s a café, and we sat down to have a coffee, willingly knowing we have to pay more because sitting in Plaza Mayor! And it’s a tourist trap! However when the waiter heard we wanted “just coffee” he said very rudely that...the machine was broken and no more coffee and walk away. I guess they don’t want my money ! Not recommendedMore
Typical Spanish tapas place. I am super happy with it as they pour La Guita Manzanilla by the glass and that is one of my favorites. The place has great torero, toros ambiance. You know you are in Spain when you walk in here.
So we went here for all the bull fighting memorabilia. It was the afternoon and we ordered a sangria and they gave us a tapas to go with. These 3 older men behind the bar are a hoot. Not sure I liked one of them...kissing my hand but just the same it was a memorable experience. Small place with a few bar stools and no tables, but tables are not needed. Room for everyone.... It is a must and so fun!More
