Walking back towards Sol from the Palacio Real, we stopped at La Botilleria for a drink. Very pleasant surroundings.

Great location for a leisurely lunch outside on a sunny day, we can recommend the home made croquetas de jamon and especially the crispy tortitas camaron, with beer, water, coffee and tip - €35 for two.

We have had breakfast and afternoon drinks here, and both times loved the experience! We plan to come again a few times while we are in Madrid.

Nice place for an evening meal. Great setting, good food, good service. Struggled for something for a vegetarian but they made a very nice salad. Reasonably priced...couldn't complain with anything.

We went to the restaurant expecting a classy atmosphere and good food. After being seated outside, our waiter treated us and other tourists like it annoyed him to do normal waiter things and had a constant "why are you here" type attitude. This harassment continued...More
