While traveling in Madrid after a week of Vaughantown, as an anglo teacher in their program, my traveling companion and I spent several days in Madrid at Calle Cava Baja in a rented flat. Across the street we found this restaurant, by chance, and walked...More

We booked up on a rainy evening in September after many days of 35C+ heat. A rather unassuming entrance part of the boutique hotel La Posada Del Dragon. The menu included a couple of fixed price Tapas options which took a lot of the roulette...More

We stumbled upon this place on a street filled with a ton of restaurants, and were so happy we found it. We had some incredible tapas (marinated tomatoes, a delicious beef special). Highly recommended.

We went tapas hopping, this was our first place (found it randomly). Left for our second place, walked around the block and came back after reading the reviews about some of the dishes we missed! Superb spot, do try!

Had a great meal at La Antonita. Servings weren't big, but the flavours were fabulous. We had sardines with strawberry tartar, oxtail croquettes and barbeque ribs with pineapple chutney. All were delicious. Wasn't that impressed with the tomato salad, though. Overall, highly recommended for something...More

It's on the ground level of a boutique hotel so there was a bit of guest traffic but not a problem for me. I had a beer, which came with a little something I can't remember now plus a tapa de tortilla (Spanish potato omelet)...all...More

We had 2 starter, 2 mains, 3 alcohol drinks, 2 soft drinks and bread; this came to around 60 euros. The portions don't look big but the flavours are brilliant and we left feeling stuffed. The food arrives as courses, which we really enjoyed as...More

After walking for hours, getting lost and being ignored by the nearby corner pizza place, we were prepared to eat anything. So this place caught us off guard with its delightful courtyard, helpful waiter and surprising dishes. The heirloom marinated salad was tasty as was...More

La Latina is a charming neighborhood with two unique
personalities. At first glance, it’s distinctly
old-world, with narrow streets weaving a maze among

characterized by a young population and a bohemian
