So for 10 euros 75 cents you can get 3 dishes (a starter, main and meat dish). We went there on our first day after seeing really expensive, tiny portions elsewhere. This was wholesome, yummy food which kept us full for a full day out in Madrid. It's clean with friendly staff and the regulars were really nice too.

This is some sort of fusion restaurant of Japanese, Chinese and Korean cuisine. We had lunch and dinner here on several occasions during our stay in Madrid and each time we were more than satisfied. Food is exceptional, portions are generous and service was fast. Staff does not speak English so we had some difficulties understanding each other, however everything... More

This is the third time I have come to Kzen and I think it just gets better. I came for lunch with two others and we had the menu of the day for 10.95 euros. We arrived at 3.30pm on a Friday and the restaurant was bustling - lots of people and a good atmosphere. The people serving were friendly... More

Kzen is a decorated asian food restaurant, located in the main area of Goya. They have a lot of options on the menu and the food is very good and fresh. Staff is very friendly and efficient. They also speak proper Spanish, instead of most of the chinese restaurants around Madrid. It is not very cheap, but if you are... More

We loved eating at Kzen, the owner was amazingly friendly and the staff was amazing. The decor is very Asian Theme and dining here was a pleasure. Our family friend is a local who frequents this restaurant and she alerted the owner that we would be coming and she even gave us a gift when we finished our meal. Loved... More

Kzen is a tastefully decorated Asian cuisine restaurant quite centrally located. It is a cut above many neighborhood Chinese restaurants in food quality and presentation (and a bit higher in price, although they have a very reasonable midday prix fixe menu). We like the roast duck very much. Some dishes can be a little salty, and in our experience the... More

Staying in Barrio de Salamanca

Neighborhood Profile
Barrio de Salamanca
Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighborhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. A stroll through Barrio Salamanca is all about admiring the beautiful architecture, window-shopping, and people-watching in this upper-crust corner of Madrid.
