We stopped in here while seeing how many different tapas places we could try...did not disappoint. We were here for just a few minutes, but long enough to try the bacalao, which was as good as we had heard in videos. Busy, energetic, but the...food is worth it.More

Locals restaurant with amazing bacalhau. Tapas bar that gets very busy during peak hours. We went there twice during our week in Madrid.

Small, very busy bar, where the main food item is two pieces of deep fried fish in a plate with paper napkin, glass of white or red wine ,all for 3 euros. Amazing. The place was always very busy,so a bit of jostling to get a...space.The barmen were in the ball and kept the whole place going.More

After several tries hoping to find this place open over the holidays, we were finally able to get in and grab a quick bite. Madhouse standing room only but I wanted the family to try the cod. My wife said it was the best she...had, not sure it was worth the hassle. Maybe catch it as soon as it opens? Cash only.More

We were told about this unique bar ,but nothing could prepare you for it. Small bar, very busy, you order deep fried fish(two pieces) which appears on a plate with paper serviette a small glass of white or red wine all for 3 euros. You...have to be prepared for a bit of hustle and bustle. After eating, you throw the paper on the floor. Fish was delicious and piping hot.More

We went to this place because we saw it on the food tour on youtube. The place is very crowded, but we waited for some people to get out and all 7 of us got in. We stood by the bar and asked for the...frituras de bacalao. Delicious!!! The service was very friendly and accommodating. It was one of the best code fritters we have ever had. And we had a lot of them in Portugal. We will definitely return again.More

Found this place by chance , it was crowded with locals so we thought we would give it a try , the staff were extremely friendly , the cod fish in batter was the best we ever had , & not expensive .

The place was very crowded when we went, which added to the charm. Cod in batter was very good, freshly cooked. A good place for a quick bite if you don’t mind standing.

Casa Revuelta- Horrible for any tourists. If you are a tourist they not only treat you horribly even if you speak Spanish but they also refused to serve us any tapas while everyone else got tapas. A group of Asian tourist was treated badly with...absolute disregard. It was so bad that we went up to them and said sorry. Wine was served in a shot glass. Would not recommend a place where they would take your money but would be rude and disrespectful.More

If you saw the YouTube video and and saw this place don't bother !! unless you want to get ripped off and pay more. They have special pricing for tourist and and special pricing for locals. The old man even gave me a snarky look...for being a tourist and then realizing he's gonna give it to me by charging more. I went at opening so it wasn't even busy. You are better off going to Casa Labra than getting ripped off hereMore
