Over multiple years and meals the staff has been friendly and helpful. Their wide variety of seasonal mushroom dishes have always been wonderful! This spring their mushroom foie gras combo was the best.

Service was terrible - male waiters in particular were pushy and condescending. Would have been bearable if the food has been decent. Tomato with tuna salad - tuna was cooked all the way through like canned tuna - not what I was expecting. Mushroom dish...lacked flavor. Hugely disappointing.More
Specializing in mushrooms, this is a nice restaurant for a bit of a treat. Pricy but the food is freshly prepared with great ingredients and presented well. There are about four or five tables outside as well as the interior dining area. Always great service...from a professional and friendly team. Their knowledge of the menu and dishes is fantastic.More
A hidden place with great food and great service. Mushrooms are a must, there is a great variety and they are delicious. The surroundings are very charming. Really worth a visit
It was great. You really have to like mushrooms and I would even recommend the sweet meats. If you are in Madrid try this - great for lunch with a glass of wine.
We choose this restaurant completely randomly. Initially they were fully booked but one reservation fell off so we took the opportunity. The staff was very professional and friendly with a well organize service. Excellent quality on all our dishes (pulpo, vieras with boletus, etc )...Price were over the average in the area but it was worth it.More
I have been wanting to come to Cisne Azul for some time. When in Madrid and longing for mushrooms I go to Imperio. Lower profile but less touristy. I am glad i went here, as I eas entering they were delivering Boletus. Had the mixed...mushrooms platter and a glass of wine. Do not expect a particularly attentive service but was correct. Only regret is that after paying and in my way to a cab I stumbled, 20 meters down, with another Cisne Azul. It happens that one is the bar and the other the restaurant. Linen tableclothes and such. Next time!More
Located a block downhill from Chueca Plaza, this small bar/cafe specializes in mushrooms accompanied by scallops, etc. It's a great idea, but I thought the food needed spicing up. Most of the customers seemed to be locals, and most of them started off with the...grilled octopus. The wine was excellent. The service was not effusive, but wasn't dismissive either. So, a bit too predicatable to be a lot of fun.More
A very lousy service. You know that you are a tourist here. Food was OK. But don't expect large dishes
I often pick mushrooms in Norway. My wife loves eating them, and as a complement to a beef I like it a lot. I nearly allways use dried mushroom when preparing brown sauce dishes. Here we came and was placed at a table by a...waiter that seemed to be wanting to do something else. He was unattentibe during the meal, served glasses of wine that was just half full, a woman coming later got her glass filled up... The portions were small, our friends portions of Revuelto Perrechios were tasteless, and the waiter could not wait to clean the table even of my wife was far from finished. When she had eaten all her food, the waiter already har the bill. My friend had "found" this place, and was ashamed over destroying our dinner. We had to buy dessert another place to be content. Find any other place!More
Soot & Sawdust Aspect shouldnt put you off. First class local fayre which is prepared over small cooker behind the bar. This is a local Madrid institution. Specialist in mushroom based dishes - and they have an eye-waterning variety. There is a bar and now a...seperate restaurant - but its the bar you want to be. Attentive and experienced staff and a really good feed for most reasonable price - A slice of Madrid life to be savoured.More
We have lunch once more in this tipical restaurant. We ate 2 kinds of mushrooms that were delicious. When you come to Madrid you have to come here.
Excellent! We went for the mushrooms cause we love porcini and sure enough the porcini dish with goat cheese was real good. Then we got an octopus with alioli sauce that was out of this world! Slightly crunchy on the outside, perfectly cooked on the...inside, it tasted great along with the sauce. I could have ordered another one easily. Then we got pecorino with truffle and omg! Sooo good! That is seriously the perfect combination, it tasted incredible, I highly recommend it. Finally, an incredible cheesecake. Very efficient and kind staff, nice restaurant, cosy. All perfect!More
Did you know that Spain has a wide variety of wild mushrooms? This is the place to learn more about which types there are and where they come from. The menu isn't complicated so it is easy to make some good choices. The Mushrooms and...Scallops were an incredible combination. It can be hard to get a table, but definitely worth the wait.More
Everything was great. The dishes are simple in a perfect way . The clients are mostly locals. And the atmosphere is fun. The prices are very reasonable.we will definitely come again.
