Not so good as the descriptions...the fries were bad and nachos were very old. Non penso di tornare in questo posto.

Pick your choice of (mini) rolls from the menu at your table, write it down on a notecard, take it to the register, and in a few minutes you can take your order back! Cheap and fun way to have a quick bite in a popular place!

Me and some friends came here and the food is really nice considering it is all €1.50 a go! We had quite a selection- the chicken wings were my favourite. Reallllly fresh and tasty! Great for a cheap and tasty meal in an expensive city!

If you are looking for something good to eat, but in small portions this is the place to go. They have lots of small sandwich to chose from. We had the fortune to go there on a Sunday, and all menu costed 1€. :)

This is a international fast food chain. It's a great place for a couple of quick sandwiches (they have loads and loads and loads to choose from) and a drink. Don't expect anything special, and avoid the Tinto de Verano - it's like coloured water. Sandwiches are from €1-2 each, you order at the bar and they'll call your name... More

We really loved the many locations of this great chain. They offer 100 different varieties of delicious little sandwiches (or montaditos) for €1 apiece, as well as delicious ensalada mixta, ice-cold jarres of beer, and tasty finger-food - like BBQ chicken wings or fresh-baked potato chips - all at exceptionally reasonable prices. The breakfast at their Madrid airport location was... More

Over 100 montaditos variety of the best quality. Freshly made and cheap. Wednesdays even cheaper, 1 euro/ montadito. Very popular fast food chain. It is advisable to fill the formular of the order and give it to the cashier. Fast service. Tinto de verano is a good choice for a drink.

Neighborhood Profile
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.
