stopped by and ate a very good fried calamari sandwich. Dining room was full so we ate outside. Perfect if you are in a hurry.

A bar with a few traditional dishes. Try the “bocadillo de calamares” or the “chorizo”. Top quality if you can appreciate this straight forward kind of place.

We were told that this is the most famous place for squid s/wich & when we eventually found this tiny place, it was packed with a lot of locals; cheap fresh food meal. The fried green peppers were good but I'm not sure of the...More

Top! Small, local, authentic. We ate only calamari sandwich so we cannot comment all other dishes. The calamari sandwich is absolutely recommended, tasty and just yummy.

Tried a lot of bocadillo de Calamari in the city but this was the best. Service was very very fast. Got the sandwich in like 10seconds and was fresh and hot. Highly recommended to anyone in the city

This place is the best restaurant/bar that I've been to in Madrid. Very traditional and warm. First of all whatever you eat in this place is delicious and cheap. It always looks crowded but if you wait for 2-3 minutes you definitely find a table...More

Have visited here at least twice on each visit to see my boyfriend in Madrid on his year abroad. It is where all the Spanish locals go as it does the best calamari sandwich for only 3 euros each! Delicious crispy calamari and the bocadillos...More

Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street
performers, colorful lights, window shopping,
restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and
churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a
collection of plazas interconnected by a network of
side streets. Some of these side streets are wide
pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so
