Pinxos are very tasty and selection is large. Also good choice of wines. But only a few tables and not possible to take a seat even around the bar. Otherwise, pinxos "to-go" are definitely worth to try. Do not go if too busy.

Fantastic Bascan tapas.....here you find a different tapas than in other traditional places...it's always crowded mainly during the week end .....you will queue and stand up because you eat "a la barra"

We were looking for a traditional pinchos bar (where you pick your own and then toothpicks are counted) When we came across this gem. Be prepared when you order on a crowded weekend to know what you want and know some Spanish! We ordered 6...More

This restaurant has two locations (Cava Baja 26 and Calle de la Cruz 11) and the bites are pretty well the same at each location. Calle de la Cruz Restaurant is a bit bigger than the other one. The tapas are very large in size...More

On our first night in Madrid we spotted this restaurant and made a note to go back during the day when it was less crowded. The restaurant definitely reminded us of San Sebastian with their huge selection of Pintxos. During the day it was still...More

Very nice place, pretty busy, tapas look creative and colorful. Price is ok, 15-20€ including the tasty"bomba" and baby eels. Maybe too narrow.

Recognizing that it is not fair to compare pinxtos in Madrid to those in San Sebastian or Bilbao or other Basque cities, maybe it is better not to even try if this is the best they can do. The pinxtos had sat around too long...More

Everybody who had been to Madrid recently suggested we have lunch at St.Miguel market. And we were looking forward to it but when we got there it was just heaving with people, you could barely move and though the food looked great we decided it...More

La Latina
La Latina is a charming neighborhood with two unique
personalities. At first glance, it’s distinctly
old-world, with narrow streets weaving a maze among
charming stone buildings in sunny, bright colors like
yellow and pink. The other side of La Latina is
characterized by a young population and a bohemian
vibe, as evidenced by a dynamic and evolving selection
of new bars, shops, coworking spaces, and other
