My partner and I went here on the recommendation of a friend, and we couldn’t have been happier with our experience. It’s refreshing to have a real wine bar in town. The wine list is expansive, and there are bottles from all over Europe. The prices range from around 20-25 to the more expensive end of the spectrum, so it’s perfect for those looking for a nice easy wine to have with the dishes during lunch or dinner, or really good wine, for a special occasion.
We loved the fact that there was a sommelier explaining the origin and history of each bottle… again.. quite refreshing. I can only thing of previous trips to France where such emphasis and thought was put into the selection. This isn’t a restaurant with wine, more a Wine bar with food.
Like the wines, the dishes had international influences and inspiration, from empanadas to hummus, croquetas, and ceviche, each dish had a perfect wine to match. We left with a full stomach and a smile on our faces, and we will definitely be coming back to this place.

It was all delicious . The restaurant is stylish and comfortable with a great atmosphere . Would love to know where they buy their chairs !

We ate here on the early end of a Saturday night and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. It is a pleasant space, each of our dishes (salmon tartare, burratta, eggplant parmesan) were excellent and attractively presented. The wait staff were very helpful in selecting an appropriate wine and overall. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

We ate at Astor earlier in the week and booked at Cedron on their recommendation. We’re glad we did. The staff, including the owner Gustavo, was really welcoming and friendly. The food was fresh and so delicious. We recommend the beet hummus (they were kind enough to tell us how to recreate it at home) and the fried ceviche. Our 10 year old kids loved the cheesecake they had for dessert, and in fact enjoyed the whole meal. We would go back again and again if we lived in Madrid!

We were going to eat at Astor but they were full so the owner kindly recommended their sister restaurant, Cedròn. The owner there was very friendly and recommended great choices. We had the jamon de bellota, cod fritters, fried ceviche, and beet hummus. Everything was very tasty. We had the cod dinner with bell peppers, chilies and coconut milk. Very inventive and delicious! We also had the steak with fries, delish. The wine was also great, from Toledo. Would recommend this place!

What a great evening around the table in this lovely restaurant. Everything you can expect was there. Starting by an awesome welcome of the gérant who took the time to explain and describe the menu. The food was very fresh and tasty. We enjoyed the selection with salmon, sweetbreads, melanzana, hanger steak and a surprising chocolate dessert. This is clearly a must in Madrid!

Tastefully decorated restaurant with attentive service. The wines are organic, so you should be either a fan or curious to try them if you go there. Personally not my favorite, but I was curious. The food was not as good as I expected. The croquettes were outstanding, but my parmigiana di melanzane (like lasagna but with eggplant) was drenched in cheese. We paid more here than in other restaurants in these price category.

A great find in the bustling La Latina neighborhood. The owner, Frederico, is passionate about wine and has great recommendations. We sampled multiple wines. The food is also amazing and I would recommend it for dinner or pre-dinner snacks. We visited on our previous trip to Madrid and loved it so much we had to come back this time. We hope to return again soon!

We loved this restaurant and wish we’d found it earlier in our trip! Great wine list with a selection by Coravin too. Gluten free options were plenty - around 70% of the menu could be made gluten free including the fried fish and schnitzel! Recommend both dishes

Wow. Outstanding food, creative menu, great wine and a cool setting. Don't let the wine bar label fool you about the food. We made reservations and were glad we did. The owners wait on you and are fantastic. The grilled oyster mushrooms are something we are going to replicate at home. And of course a great wine selection.

Cedrón Wine Bar, is an incredible place to enjoy an exquisite dinner or a different lunch, if you are in Madrid you can not stop going. It has a menu with unmissable dishes, the Milanese delicious, it entails extraordinary; I highly recommend the vitello tonnato and grilled girgolas. Dessert... the best cheesecake. We have gone several times pq all the dishes they offer are a pleasure. We love the atmosphere, very warm and excellent service. Thank you Gustavo your sommelier for your recommendations were always correct, the best! We'll always be back! I highly recommend...

We arrived at this restaurant by chance, it was almost 4 in the afternoon and the restaurant we had been recommended had the kitchen closed. The local is very nice. The delicious kitchen a perfect pairing for some well treated wines. As for the staff, professional and very friendly. In short, a fully recommended restaurant that I will return to on my next visit to Madrid.

They recommended this Argentine restaurant in La Latina, on 25 Almendro Street, and it has been a great discovery. Next to Cava Baja and Plaza del Humilladero. It is a pleasant and cozy place, in a modern place but that exudes the history of Madrid. The Milanese was spectacular (and the fries). Furthermore, they bring it cut; This makes it very comfortable to share. The croquettes, just the right size and creamy. We put ourselves in the hands of Gustavo for the wine. He totally got it right with a wine from Piedmont that we loved. Gustavo knows about wines. Cedrón is a highly recommended place to which we will return. And of course, thanks for your attention and recommendations, Gus.

Absolutely thrilled to discover this small and cozy wine bar, located just around the corner from a busy ‘madrileño’ hangout in La Latina. Impressive wine list with plenty of options by the glass. The somm did a fantastic job recommending wines to pair with our food. We chose a few dishes to share, and they were all delicious. Hats off to the tuna tartare and the cod stew. Well done!

A nice and very nice place, the food even better as the vellum tonato ceviche fried mushrooms with egg and entails it. To finish the chocolate, exquisite. We'll be back soon before we go on vacation. Thank you very much, Cedron.

Centro
Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street performers, colorful lights, window shopping, restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a collection of plazas interconnected by a network of side streets. Some of these side streets are wide pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as desired. The iconic Puerta del Sol is the giant crossroads of the city and a must-see attraction at any time of the day. The nearby Plaza Mayor, completely enclosed by historic red buildings, is an ideal place to grab a bite to eat outside, amidst scores of tables and people out for a stroll. Plaza Isabel II (also known as “Opera”) is smaller and a good meeting spot, and the stately Plaza del Oriente is the front yard of the Royal Palace. Centro can be touristy (pickpockets are unfortuately not unheard-of here), crowded, and sometimes gimmicky, but it is also the place to experience classic Madrid.
