Back now from our 3 day break! What a find by senior management! A survivor of the blessed HOHO sight seeing bus, we wandered down some alleys! Not much to look at from outside, fantastic inside! Brilliant atmosphere inside, service fantastic! Price great, portions just...More

We enjoyed our meal in an atmosphere of old world charm. Our meal was very good. We were brought a complimentary digestive liquors after dinner. The price of our meal, including dessert was very reasonable and we went away feeling satisfied and delighted.

My girlfriend and I dined at this restaurant on our last night in Madrid. It looked great from the outside but unfortunately it all went terribly downhill once we stepped inside. Please, for the sake of your own health, do not order the prawns (that...More

We had the prato del dia with choices for appetizer, main, drink and dessert. My fish was excellent, gazpacho more than tasty and the flan to die for. The setting couldn’t be prettier. Easy to locate from Puerta del Sol.

A restaurant with decor that makes it appear a lot older than it really is. A dark wooden vaulted ceiling, cosey alcoves for the diners and a pleasent open bar area. A very nice enviroment for drinks and tapas. Our first visit was confined to...More

A local recommended this place to us and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was excellent and attentive, the food was delicious and the restaurant itself is gorgeous (stained glass by the entrance and extensive woodworking throughout the building). We had hoped to have time...More

Managed to get a table without a reservation on a Saturday night. Great atmosphere and terrific surroundings. Prices reasonable. I had the fish and seafood soup to start. Tasted great, but why leave all the debris in the soup? Strain it and put the seafood...More

Expansive plazas, local and foreign crowds, street
performers, colorful lights, window shopping,
restaurant signs promising the best paella, ham, and
churros con chocolate- this is downtown Madrid, a
collection of plazas interconnected by a network of
side streets. Some of these side streets are wide
pedestrian shopping routes, and some are hidden, so
it's possible to duck in and out of the bustle as
