Firstly AMAZING, secondly WELL DONE!! I reserved an area for my sisters surprise birthday party at the bar and I mean the service was just beyond what i had expected!! They organized a place for all of us; the setting, area and the lights were...fantastic! The place is very fancy and well designed in its own, so for a surprise party it was the best setting I could have chosen. The guests had plenty of space to sit and dance, no one pushing and getting in our way, which was great and hard to find other places that are busy on a Saturday night! 🎉🎉 The best part of the night was Adrian (The sweetest, most cheerful and energized clown) that worked at the bar, he was just incredible! He helped us set up all the decorations and was beyond helpful throughout the whole night, never did he forget about us, which was so sweet and showed so much care for his clients! Lastly, everyone had a great time and my sister loved everything about the night, so surprise birthday party well done with a lot of much needed help from the bar. Thank you guys, definitely coming back for more great drinks and music! ♥️🥂🎂 Best, CamilleMore

A great option to visit for both food and drinks. I went there on Wednesday and we had a fantastic selection of tapas: an amazing fresh burrata in a bed of salmorejo, a tomato, avocado and mango salad, a deliciously fresh octopus in a bed...of potato pure... all of it extremely tasty! The drinks are very reasonably priced, at 7€ a cocktail, and the bar becomes lively in the later stages of the evening, with a DJ that plays en eclectic mix of international music. Strongly recommend it!!More

So I went twice to the San Mateo Circus for very different reasons. The first time was totally unexpected, we thought that it was a club and we came in our of curiosity. It was soooo nice ! And the staff was adorable. Then we...were searching a bar to organise a party with friends of GMadrid, a spanish gay association of sports, and they were very interested. We ended up doing it at the circus and everyone was just so happy about it ! From the atmosphere to the staff, passing by the public in the bar, it was just fabulouuuuus.More

This is a cocktail place that serves food. Short menu, with delicious sounding dishes that are not as spectacular as they make them sound. Uncomfortable tables for eating. I live in the area, go somewhere else for dinner, there are a lot of nice restaurants...to discover in the area, and go to this place for a drink afterwards.More

We only went to this place for the high reviews, but after the visit I can’t understand them. I found it here under restaurants. I would not call this place a restaurant, it’s more like a bar. The wine and the drinks was great but...not nothing that’s sticks out from other cocktail bars. We tried three small dishes, two was ok but one I couldn’t even eat. The small dishes was very expensive of what you get. Drinks and wine was otherwise good price on, 3,5 euro for a glas of wine and drinks 10 euro. If we just went for drinks l would give this place 3,5 in rate but for eating 2.More

Despite being essentially a dance club the food was simply awesome. Our wait person was attentive and kindly address us as English only speaking customers. The hamon and ceviche beef with seaweed was to die for! Service was attentive and friendly. The DJ music was...a bit loud considering there was no one on the floor. Nevertheless we were early for dinner at 9 pm. Again, an awesome foodie experience!More

We read some good reviews about this place and decided to try it out, on a Thursday night. Filled to maybe one fourth capacity, there was absolutely nothing to make this place be described as lively. To accompany our rose wine and colonial cocktail that...was quite tasty and definitely recommendable, we thoroughly enjoyed the steak tartare, and beef ceviche. Though both these were delicious, the tacos were ok, but nothing to complain about. Had the atmosphere been more lively we would have lingered over more drinks, but the dullness of the ambience that had absolutely nothing to warrant its name of circus, made us leave and seek out another place with better atmosphere.More
