We went here for dinner. Interior probably once looked nice, but benches were broken and repaired with duct tape. Food was good, but chicken sandwich contained mainly beef and a little bit chicken. Think something went wrong in the kitchen.

Dog friendly, great menu, tasty food, good service - What's not to like? This is a great 'pit stop' on your visit to Madrid. Just off the Gran Via, so very convenient.

Went here like last option for a late friday's lunch, and as I've eard about, I thought it would be a good to try it. The service was very fast, and people were kind. I'd one of the vegetarian options, and I was not amazed, it was not back, but... maybe I should come back and give it another shot!

First, the service here is great. They have a nice bar when you first walk in and the dining atmosphere is fun, almost made to look like a diner. Not only is the menu fairly large (lots of burger and sandwich choices), but its all ecological/grass fed and I think organic.... I will worn you ... the 1-2-2 burger (9-1-1... More

Had lunch here during a recent holiday in madrid. The restaurant has a diner style to give it an American theme. We enjoyed good quality burgers and a beer.

We found Home Burger Bar after getting turned away at Hard Rock cafe. Having decided we wanted a good burger a quick google search found the HBB. We all enjoyed freshly cooked burgers with a variety of toppings and crispy thin fries. For a local twist I swapped my cheddar cheese for manchego. Friendly service, great food and reasonable prices... More

This place really hit the spot! My husband and I ate here on our last night in Madrid, and it was just what we wanted. I'm a vegetarian, so I had a hard time finding enough to eat in Madrid--even seemingly meatless options like gazpacho or patatas bravas often have meat snuck in. At Home Burger, I had quite a... Great place atmosphere and the most important delicious and original hamburgers !! The only negative thing I can thing of is that there're no phone signal. But that helps the socialization among the dinner guests

Staying in Chueca

Neighborhood Profile
Chueca is the hip, gay neighborhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
