Lovely dinner, delicious meats, excellent staff who were very attentative and answered our questions about the interior which is stunning and reminds you of casa nobles elsewhere in Spain! We family of five with young children loved it!

The restaurant is lovely, and the wait staff is wonderful (only 1 English speaking - but they worked it out) - and the food is awesome! My husband and I had drinks, grilled vegetables, the best steak I've ever had, and a fabulous dessert - for about 80 euros.

The menu is first rate. The appetizer includes chorizo, Spanish blood Sausage, and pepper. The main course is superb lamb, accompanied by a salad. The desert has a set of choices; we had the natillas which were very nice. There is also a bottle of nice red wine, coffee, and a drink at the end. The price is 37.50 Euros... More

If you like lamb, this is your best bet in Madrid. Done to perfection in a clay and wood oven. The atmosphere is relaxing, the service could have been friendlier, even when address in Spanish, they were proper but not friendly. I would return since the quality and price were excellent.

We love well cooked Spanish lamb. The Asador is a great place to go. We had their menu, which included the lamb, but also a good appetizer, salad, desert, coffee, and a bottle of wine. The good was excellent, and so was the price. This meal was at the calle preciados location, which in our opinion is less nice than... More

I love going there - so far only knew the ones in Barcelona but this has just as good food. Apparently I should try the cochinillo (suckling pig), but I always go back for the lechazo (baby lamb). Absolutely awesome, relatively good priced (if short) wine list as well. Just make sure to not bring any vegetarians :-)

To be positive if you want the most tenderly cooked lamb or pork you have ever eaten then come here. On the other hand if you want buzz, local company and atmosphere then I'm sorry to say that this is not the place for you. A great shame because the food was excellent.

Thank ANZ D

Broad, tree-lined avenues with pretty streetlights frame the neighborhood of Barrio Salamanca. With beautiful condominium buildings that make up most blocks in this area, this part of town is refined and quiet. It is also host to a few of the city's large shopping avenues, including Calle Serrano and Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset. A walk down these streets will reveal upscale chains, small boutiques, and plenty of opportunities for shopping or checking out the stylish displays. The locals here are polished and fashionable, the atmosphere is leisurely, and the lush Retiro Park on the southern border is yet another opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.
