Great Italian food, good wine. Shared the bruschetta starter, pizza was fresh, lasagne delicious, shared a great pudding. All in €50. We would say good value, staff helpful, good music, nice ambience and off the main drag. We would go again and that says it all.

tasty pizza & fresh pasta it's a family restaurant (by italian family), nice and friendly staff, decorated nicely , very calm place to seat with friends and enjoy good and tasty food. Price range is fair (~9-13 Euro ) and there are options for vegetarians as well !

You can find excellent and real pizza here! Pizza is little bit greasy but didn't bother that much. Incredients are fresh! I strongly recommend!

We looked to get away from the tourist area (sol) to find some pasta. My girlfriend loved the pizza. I got the Bolognese pasta. The dish hit the spot. Service was great. Very best, and helpful ( English friendly ) Big portions here. If you are in the area, this is the place to go. Have a higher rating among... More

Found this little gem when we were looking for the laundromat (which is next door). The pizza was great, we could see why the place was so busy. The staff offered us a menu in English but there were also a lot of locals. Was reasonably priced although we ordered to much. 1 pizza would have been enough to share.

First visit to Madrid and found this restaurant on the first night. Food was fresh and hot. Wine good value. Service a bit rushed as they want to seat the people queuing! Enjoyed all 3 meals here.

We were on holidays in Madrid and found this little Italian restaurant on our last day. The crowd is cool, the service is good - real authentic Italian in every aspect. The food is really exceptional for an Italian restaurant outside of Italy. Its not expensive. If you are in Madrid and want to eat something else than Tapas than... More

Staying in Chueca

Neighborhood Profile
Chueca is the hip, gay neighborhood of Madrid where many of the streets are narrow and intimate, but where the hustle and bustle and the eclectic storefronts and people give it a distinctly urban feel. The main thoroughfare is Calle Hortaleza and the main square is Plaza Chueca, completely filled with terraza tables serving copas (mixed drinks) during summer. A mixture of trendy and grungy, some of the adult businesses here are explicitly racy in their signage. From the rainbow flags to the signs above the entrances of its many funky bars, to the date spot restaurants, Chueca is a vibrant and colorful place. It's always interesting to explore the different corners of Chueca by day, and by night, the area becomes a major nightlife destination when the clubs open their doors.
