Ate here twice during my stay in Madrid. Probably better with a group as the portions are large, so each time I only had one dish. The lamb chops were very tasty and well cooked. The next time I had mushrooms with ham - tasty...More

Great food and beer. We had raciones and tostas, accompanied with ice cold beer from the tap. Service was rushed, but polite and efficient. You see lots of locals as well as some tourists, so in no way is this a tourist trap. Also, the...More

Love the tinto de verano! It was perfect! With the delicious gambas, tiburon and calamare! The place is very cozy and can accommodate a small group of 10 nicely and comfortably.

My twin brother Stephen and I were walking around the Huertas neighbourhood when we chanced on this very busy tapa bar and restaurant and what a great find. This is a great looking place with great decor and furnishings including a superb tiled interior that...More

We had a late dinner here last night around 10ish. There were no tables at the front and we were taken through to the back - not as much atmosphere- but it was fine; the food was the same :-) We had friendly and quick...More

Good quality food and service . This place is a great tapas place in Madrid. . The place has a buzz about it. After lunch you can stroll around the side streets in the area. Very pretty.

Although there is a lot of offer, it is difficult to find places with typical Spanish food, quality, with good price and quality of service. The Cerveceria Cervantes fulfills all these requirements, it is recommended!

Being there is an spectacle. The staff is very kind, they are having good time working, always with an smile and making jokes between themselves and people. Food is excellent, I recommend octopus galizyan.

You will have to try to make sense of the menu in Spanish, cause that’s all there is. Not that hard, and you end up with delicious tapas with a beer. What more do you want?

Also known as Barrio de las Letras, Huertas was once
home to prominent literary figures, Miguel de
Cervantes and Lope de Vega among them. The
neighborhood is committed to celebrating its rich
heritage: Calle Huertas itself is inlaid with quotes
from celebrated authors, street names pay homage to
them, and second-hand bookshops pervade. Huertas
receives a fair amount of spillover from the center —

We had a late lunch but my impression was that it is open mid-day through to late evening - locals do not eat until 9pm or 10pm.
