Went there to try the rooster comb! Had an amazing dinner (alone). Had the gourmet menu. All the dishes were good. Especially the oyster, deer shabu shabu and the rooster comb. Save room for dessert... there’s a dessert cart with a very interesting “drunk” cake!

This was probably our 5th or 6th visit to El Club Allard in the past 4 years. We were huge fans of the cuisine by Chef Maria Marte. Unfortunately, she is no longer at helm of the restaurant. The service is still excellent, however we...More

We visited on March 1, 2016, as this was one of the restaurants in the top 25 best restaurants in the world, as voted by TripAdvisor travelers, for that year. We did not go to Madrid because of it, however it is worth a return...More

An excellent experience, except for the fly that hovered around our table. We learned the word “trampantojo”, which means something that seems to be what it isnt. As an example, we had arroz del mar which seemed to be rice but was actually bits of...More

The Spanish start dinner very late, so we first got started around 10pm. Decided on the 6 course menu with wine pairing. The pace was high from the start with Beef Tartare and Eel. Appetizers are delicious and small, Creamy Comte soup fast to follow,...More

Dear Sir, thank you for your appreciation and comment that motivate us to keep searching for the excellence of all the team of El Club Allard.

Just south of the sprawling campus of the Complutense
University of Madrid, Arguelles exudes a fast-paced,
collegiate vibe. The main street, Calle Princesa, is
filled with twenty-somethings rushing between classes
and errands, meeting up with classmates, and grabbing
cheap beers and cheap eats. This is a prime shopping
spot where the major Spanish clothing and department
store chains are less busy than their downtown

I'm not sure how early you can book a reservation, i.e. If only 30 days out. I would suggest emailing the restaurant and requesting the reservation now for October and they can let you know. They speak good English!
