Irish pub. First the service was good, but when we wanted a bill, it was not what we expected. 6 pints 31,20€, 4 wines 24€, 1 water 2€, 2 bags of nuts 4€ = totally 60,20€!! Too expensive. Gibraltar should have similar prices than in...Spain. Anyhow in another restaurant we went there price was half of it!! When we complained about the bill, the owner got crazy and called police... We paid, but the policemen could do nothing. Just said this is how it is. The argue started when they couldn't give us a proper bill; first written by hand and the second made by calculator. It was a business holiday for us so we definitely would need a proper bill to my bookkeeper. Never go there again. And the owner (or waitress), old lady, was very rude!!!More

I had read the bad reviews here, but we were in a hurry to catch our Rock tour on Friday, so we popped in here for lunch. Most of the meals were 9£. My husband had fish & chips with peas & he said the...fish was very good & the fries didn’t look good to me, but he said they were good. The lady owner was fine with me & she had her sweet (rescue) dog there-I think he would have loved if we had dropped some food:) there was outdoor seating & the bathrooms were clean & there was soap & towels. this was the only place we ate so I can not “compare”, but we had no complaints & the food came out SUPER fast. She does not have a card machine, so it’s cash only. It’s priced in pounds, but She does take euros & my husband pulled up the xe currency site on his phone that shows the conversion rate & we paid euros based on that.More

£4.50 for a pint, unpleasant and prickly member of staff behind the bar, unpleasant and smelly pub, can't recommend it, no matter how well placed it is, on Main Street just off Casrmates.

I stopped here while visiting Gibraltar. I wish I has read the reviews before stopped as I would probably not eaten here. I ordered a pint of shady, cheese and onion toasty with chips. I was surprised by the cost of £12.00. The toilets did...not have any hand towels and could have done with a clean. I would recommend checking your receipt as I was listening to one person who was short changed. I would probably not eat here again.More

We had some free time after doing a tour of Gibraltar and fancied a beer . Picking an Irish bar always seems like a safe bet . We were paying in sterling so two beers was £8 . Seemed ok at first then It all...got a little bit strange . I heard one of the people behind the bar a wee woman ( maybe the owner going by other reviews ) say to a customer when he asked to use the gents toilet .. use the ladies I’m fed up having to unblock it all the time .. Taking a proper look around I realised that the whole pub actually could do with a really good clean . The strangest thing though was in amoungst all the usual Irish memorabilia of football tops / leprechauns and signs etc was a cabinet full of orange order regalia which I have no problem with but it just seemed odd . My wife by this time had seen enough , telling me to finish my beer and we left to eat else where ... I might be wrong but I think it’s the type of place that knows they will probably never see you again so they don’t careMore

Love this place, just arrived off ferry from Morocco so was hanging out for a beer and real food.Situated in a corner this inn says welcome. With outdoor seating you can watch travellers pass by. The bar is cosy inside with Irish relics and paraphernalia adorning...the walls. The staff are very welcoming and hospitable. The beer is good and you should try the fish meal sooo appetising . What a great way to begin your stay in Gibraltar.More

Just watched the bar woman tip a tin of guinness into a pint pot and then top it up with Caffreys. Lol.

Found this delightful pub by chance. Outside seating to watch the world go by. A great choice of drinks, from good beers to a cup of tea, nothing was too much trouble. Each day's exploring seemed to end here Cheers

Lots of Titanic memorabilia serving nice pub grub and draught ales. Land lady and bar staff are very nice and friendly.
