The waiter from east Europe was very unfriendly and unmotivated. He was almost rude to us. The breakfast was totally boring and disappointing. We would not go for breakfast again. A huge disappointment. Perhaps it's because people get paid minimum but not the guest's problem.

Really enjoyed half an hour here eating a small dinner and light drinks. Friendly efficient service and pleasant food. Great to get fresh orange too !

Very good bar well situated for the town. Some of the Staffs attitude a little odd, not wanting to be there kept saying it was closed. Moaning most of the time

We were a family of six people visiting for lunch, and even though the restaurant was far from full, the wait was more than an hour from we arrived and until food was served. When the food finally came, it wasn’t served at the same...time - the tapas would come first and then the rest. However only 3 people ordered tapas. They also managed to forget one of the dishes that we ordered. It never came, but was still added to the bill. The food tasted quite bland - in need of salt, dry burger buns, and soft fries. A final remark, they waiter didn’t smile once and generally wasn’t very ‘welcoming’ in his attitude.o A sad end to an otherwise really nice visit to GibraltarMore

Visited for breakfast when out walking the other morning and it has never changed great staff, food and many a business meeting been had there.

The steak sandwich and fries were fab. Great service and food delivered quickly after order. Would recommend. Good value for money.

Friendly staff, comfortable seating, cold-local beer, delicious food. Everything a tourist needs after hiking the Rock! Thank you Star Bar!

Been here 3 times in the last 8 months, and each time the food has taken over an hour to arrive, and the service has been awful. On one occassion the waiter literally forgot to put our food order in and then got snappy with...me when I tried to order a coffee an hour later, when I asked when would our food be ready he admitted fully to just not putting the order in and then telling us the kitchen had closed.More

This place has very friendly service, excellent food, very fresh, very tasteful, try the homemade wraps and fries, nice place!!!

A warm welcome aways you here. Dining inside or on small terrace to front. Their breakfasts are legendary in Gib ! Their poached eggs with avocado and wilted spinach were FAB ! They also have an ever changing selection of tapas which are great for...lunch or a snack. Quieter in the evenings.More
