Bringing you the finest coffee, a full selection of specialty teas, snacks, cakes and pastries to take away or enjoy inside our beautiful and contemporary café and bar. Jury’s Café & Wine Bar is located next to the courts in Gib; open for breakfast from 7:00am with a full breakfast menu, freshly squeezed orange juice & Italian Lavazza coffee. A large chilled take away display offers a selection of freshly made salads, sandwiches, ciabattas, baguettes, paninis and wraps with soft drinks to go. Our main menu runs throughout the evening offering dishes such as Honey Prawn Skewers, a good selection of salads and sharing dishes such as the Counsellor’s Platter. We also offer a choice of more than 40 wines and champagnes from around the world; many available by the glass from our unique wine dispenser which uses a special gas to preserve open bottles. We also have a large selection of draught and bottled beers on offer.

Lovely wine and tapas.

Lovely wine and tapas. We spent an hour here sitting at an outside table, the lady server was friendly, music great and it all felt safe. Chose a really good red wine and a Gambas Pil Pil each, plus a fillet steak tapas. The prawns were delicious and unusual but still tasty cooked in garlic, chilli and tomato, with plenty of warm crusty bread. The steak was good quality, although pricey for the portion size: a very enjoyable stop with a good vibe.

Not far from our hotel and as we had visited in the past knew what to expect so went several times. Managed except once to sit in the rear area but there is seating at the front and ouside. Can get busy and there is sometimes a wait for service but once ordered food and drinks arrive promptly. I had Chicken wings once while my wife had Duck,both of which were very good.Another occasion I had Prawns but my wife was a bit disappointed with the potato skins which came more like flat wide chips. I found a good wine to my likeing but this ran out as they only had the one bottle. If passing well worth a visit even if just for a drink.

Great breakfast at reasonable prices

I was in Gibraltar for 4 days and had breakfast each day at Jury's, rather than in my hotel, and was very glad I did. It's a small but busy place, tables inside can be hard to get, but once seated you can sit and enjoy a leisurely meal whilst listening to the locals discuss everything from legal issues to education to their families. The coutroom early starter breakfast was excellent value at under £6 and more than filling to keep me going all day. The staff were very friendly, and a special mention must go to Rossanna who, despite being rushed off her feet at times, smiled continually and was very welcoming.

Disappointed

We dined here last night and it wasn’t a good experience. House red wine was good, potato skins starter and the Brie fine. I had a Thai curry which was fine. Sadly the fillet steak was a disaster. Tough meat raw in the middle. Sent back for more cooking twice. In the end my husband gave up. Give the waiter his due it was deducted from the bill but we suspect the chef didn’t know how to cook steak and it’s doubtful it was a piece of fillet.

Breakfast didn’t Deliver

Stopped here for breakfast the other day as the reviews were so good. How disappointed were we!! Did you not onThe best thing I can say was that they served us quickly. Coffee arrived with no milk, waited thinking it would be brought across but it wasn’t, had to ask for it. Breakfast arrived, eggs benedict, cold hollandaise, hard egg! Other breakfast granola, no spoon. Toast was actually warm bread and we had to again ask for the butter. And marmalade. We didn’t complain as it was so hard to get the waiters attention, even when it came to paying it was as though they didn’t really want to serve us.

Great spot for food in Gibraltar

We were in Gibraltar on January 24th 2020 and were looking for good upscale British pub style food. My wife chose fish and chips which were absolutely wonderful and I chose a Guinness meat pie which was also really good. Highly recommend this place. The staff were very friendly and very helpful.

Excellent value, good service and lovely food.

We ate here on 10th November and had a really good meal. We were welcomed by Alex who explained the menu and made suggestions for the tapas. He then recommended appropriate wines to match the food. The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. Alex was an excellent host. Dinner for 2, including dessert and wine, was very good value at £38. Highly recommend.

Good for all meals

Having only popped in for drinks in recent years, we decided to have a cheeseboard for dinner after having a heavy lunch. The cheeses were the perfect temperature, so full of flavour, presented on a board that was ample for two. We were so impressed, that we took breakfast one morning and the choice was exceptional. The team are a friendly bunch, and it is a place that is always busy, mainly with locals, which is always a good sign. Looking forward to a return visit and would recommend for anyone from single diners to families, they do well at accommodating all.

Outrageously poor service and food

For context, we were 3 friends for breakfast. Very hard to get served due to lack of staff. The man serving gave multiple raised eyebrows as we gave our order with some simple requests. My breakfast arrived first after 20 minutes. I’d asked for eggs turned over/medium. Undercooked glassy eggs arrived. Eggs returned to be recooked were returned halfway through my breakfast. At that stage, my 2 friends still have nothing. We were told to wait one more minute. 10 minutes later, still nothing! What eventually arrived was borderline inedible. An Irish breakfast dish was ordered, we received a poor rendition akin to a large crepe. Word of advice; don’t serve a fake Boxty to visitors from Ireland 🇮🇪. Poor service and food. We did receive a token discount and mooted apologies for our “troubles”. We won’t be back!

The food here is so very very good, however the service isn't. On our last day in Gibraltar having spent a lot of money here we phoned to say we would really love to have breakfast but we would be 20 mins after they stopped serving, could they let us have breakfast still. They said it was impossible despite a lot of pleading. There are a lot of other places to go

Enjoyable breakfast would recommend

We called in for breakfast one morning. Service was very attentive and they had a great menu on offer. Breakfasts were not served together which was disappointing and I had finished mine before my husband had his. When we pointed this out we were informed there had been a problem in the kitchen. It would have been nice to have been told this beforehand. But the restaurant did give us our coffees free as a way of an apology which was a nice touch. Despite this the breakfasts and coffee we both had were faultless. Very good quality and good value. We will definitely be returning to sample some of the lunch and evening offerings. Nice to sit outside on the street and watch the world go by. I would recommend a visit and try out the Irish potato style pancake if you are stopping off for breakfast. The smoked salmon and poached eggs with avocado was also equally as delicious.

Disappointing

Thought we’d give this place a go after reading previous reviews, we walked past during the day and it seemed busy so we decided to return later in the evening. We were underwhelmed, don’t visit on a Sunday night if you want quick efficient service. We felt sorry for the young girl who was left on her own to cope. Main courses were ok, not the quality we were expecting, chicken tagliatelle didn’t taste brilliant and Guineas ale pie some meat a bit grizzly. Baileys cheesecake was great but took ages to be offered after main course. Reasonably priced but disappointing quality and service, lots of better value places to eat

Lovely Place

Jury's is always busy when we pass but we managed to get an indoor table last week and we were not disappointed by the welcome we were given, the lovely staff and most of all the food and drinks. I opted for a caesar salad and it was excellent and had the correct lettuce which was listed on the menu, the chicken was cut into small chunks and the sauce was delicious, my Daughter opted for meatballs and spaghetti and she is still saying how good it was, she was given an individual bowl of parmesan so she could add what she wanted to and she loved that it was freshly grated as she dislikes the pre packed powdery cheese. The wine choices were good and all in all it was lovely to eat at Jury's. The staff were attentive despite how busy the cafe bar was.

Food good but disappointed with Service.

Food was nice. Disappointed with service as Spanish family who arrived shortly after us appeared to get preferential treatment. They got their food first and had eaten their meals while we waited nearly an hour, this was around 3.30pm so not busy. We were told 2 of our choices were not available but Spanish family were given one of these. No condiments were brought to the table either so we had to ask another table for them. Not impressed with service and won’t be returning.

Tuesday tapas

On our yearly visit to Gib we always visit Jurys for tapas. When we were seated the waiter said did we want to see a menu, we asked if we could see the tapas menu, the waiter said we don't normally do tapas but will do it for you, which we thought was strange as we have been having tapas at Jurys for many years. The food as always was lovely.
