We had fish and chips. It was not very nice and the service was very slow. We were waiting for the food even we were the only guests, after for the bill and return. Just waiting. Sorry to say but nothing special.

Have you ever had a burger lacking the salat and dressing on? I mean just the bun and a piece of meat. Try Cannon bar. Regarding the cleanless of the kitchen see headings.

Found the place when on shore from a cruise ship. Situated one block up the hil behind marks&Spencer. Wanted a light eat. Nice service from the waitress. From our observations she was fluent in several languages. Had a nice (large) soup, with bread and coffees. Nicely priced and nicely taste. They even had a nice sun. Also serving mash&bangers and... Great little bar just off main street, locals use this bar so always a good sign, food absolutely great, massive portions at a reasonable price. A bit more relaxed than the bars on Main Street

Escaped from a large group and the madness of Main Street. Found this little gem of a hotel at #9 Cannon Lane. Inside a small courtyard with five tables. Had a coffee and peace and quiet for an hour. Free WIFI a bonus. Outside more tables and busier. Clever Business Card.

Been to the canon a few times on trips to Gibraltar , reasonably friendly staff and food ok, but seems to cater for the locals more than visitors.

Stopped off here as it was the closes bar to our hotel. There were a few tables outside to enjoy the early Spring sun, but this is where the smokers congregated. The inside is quite small but we did witness some of the meals, which looked wholesome and served in reasonable portions. This is a typical British Pub and serves... More
