If you order fish, make sure they weigh at your table! I was charged for a kilo fish that was tiny. It could not have weighed more than 300 grms.

On a wet ,windy Thursday evening we went to Le Mamela and we were NOT disappointed! There were quite a few people eating and also a birthday party going on. The food portions are HUGE and we are good eaters! Lovely service and a great...menu choice. A very pleasant evening, enjoying excellent food. Will definitely be back :-)More

Visited this restaurant which has a great view overlooking Catalan bay. The service was excellent and the food quality exceeded expectations. The story is also an interesting one. Well worth a visit.

Made a reservation for Thursday evening although I would say it was not necessary as it was not hugely busy; nice welcome when we arrived and we got a table with a view which was nice. The menu is reasonably varied with a one page...selection of vegetarian dishes. The starters are large so we shared one. There is a specials board and we had beef burritos which I have to say were huge. The food is well presented and the staff gave us time between courses. Nice ambiance, I should imagine it is even nicer in the summer. Mid-range to high on prices but this is reflected in the quality. Good house wine.More

Nice late afternoon bottle of wine. Service was very patchy - although there was only one other couple in after taking our seats we had to go and chase up the service. The terrace overlooking the sea is very pleasant, but sadly is on the...wrong side to get the evening sun.More

On our 5 years anniversary we happen to be in Gibraltar with our two children. We chose La Mamela by chance, mostly because of the view to the sea and my wife love sea food. We got very good service and the food was very...tasty.More

Was able to book on-line but did not really need to as we were the only people there. But it was early February. They had been full the previous evening. We were made very welcome. The menu has something for most people and there is...also the "catch of the day". Be aware that portions are large. We opted for steaks for our main course and both were cooked perfectly (and large)! Wine list is as expected for a Bistro and well priced. Would easily recommend this one.More

We felt like we were home when we were here. Everything they recommended was spot on. Had the catch of the day which was perfectly cooked. We came here on a slow night and felt that we were at home...a very warm environment.
