I was here for a day trip and wanted a quick lunch. It is a typical British style pub in a nice little street near main Street. We only had sandwiches as we had ta full day, It took almost 40 mins for them to arrive with the order and we had to rush. However the food was fine and... More

I have twice visited The Clipper on day trips from my studies in Spain and on both occasions I have thoroughly enjoyed the place. The staff are very attentive, friendly and helpful from start to finish and there is a lot of choice for lunch, as well as for drinks. The fish and chips were excellent and the portions are... More

Good service, good English and Irish meal. Lovely streak ale pie with mashed potatoes. Roasts are pretty good too, with plenty of meat.

We have never before been here for dinner, but decided to come here as we have always enjoyed the lunch here. There is an extensive "specials" menu, which unfortunately is only ever on the blackboard, so a bit difficult to read at times. The nice thing is that if you order 2 of the same meals of the specials you... More

We went for lunch and had a good, reasonably priced meal. The place was busy but staff were well on top of their game meaning that we didn't have to wait long to order and the food came quickly after that. The place was full of locals which is always a good sign and the food well priced and hot... More

Visited Gib from a cruise ship on a very hot Sunday in October. A ship in dock puts a lot of tourists into the area on a day when many of the shops are closed and there was a 45 minute queue at the cable car and the main street was very busy. We went to Irish Town to escape... More
