Went here for a quick working breakfast a few days back. My colleague ordered toast with butter and jam. His butter wasn't enough for both slices so he requested another one. Shortly after it was given to him a waitress came running out saying if he opened the butter he'd have to pay extra! He had to hand back in... More

Service quick and polite even if full. Pub-grub reasonable quality. Busy for Sunday lunch, best to book for then.

Love the Clipper, the staff are extra friendly and professional, the food is standard pub grub but always very tasty and very generous on portion sizes! Delicious cream teas are available in the afternoon and they have Strongbow on tap. I always go there and i am never disappointed. in short I love the Clipper x

We were looking for somewhere to eat on Saturday night so stopped off to look at The Clipper having read the good reviews. No joy - they were not going to be open in the evening. (It seems as though Gibraltar shuts down at the weekends!) We only had coffee and it was terrible - a latte and a black... More

Popped out for a quick lunch on a torrential rainy day, and so glad we popped into the clipper all the food was good wholesome family food served with a smile. The three portions probably too big for lunch but the food so good it was hard not to finish the plate and give it a bit of a lick.... More

Having read all the great reports about The Clipper on TA we decided to give it a try and we weren't disappointed. Although we have visited Gibraltar on a number of occasions we had never ventured to Irish Town so reading TA reports was very helpful. We arrived at their busy lunchtime service and felt lucky to get a table,... More

I have frequented the Clipper many times over the years and I have never been disappointed. Plenty of homemade dishes, with great combinations. Trust me that there will be something on the menu to appeal to everybody. A great choice if you're downtown and need a place to sit back, relax and enjoy some good food.
