We visited Hacienda Patagonica twice on our Gibraltar trip but we weren't hungry enough to try the meat sharing plates (very good value!). Small meat sandwiches, assorted small meats with potato and mixed salads were all good. Service very friendly.

Superb tapas at very reasonable prices. Limited choice of wine but we were happy enough with the house wine. Staff were very pleasant and we enjoyed the way the brought food out as it was ready which meant it was always nice and warm when we ate. Good value and definitely recommended

We shared the mixed BBQ and it was delicious. A mountain of various BBQ'd meats, with a chimichurri sauce and something that tasted very much like a salsa verde. The only downside was the lack of fresh salad because of the bank holiday. More food than we could eat and 2 beers each (in glasses fresh from the freezer) for £25 a head. Good deal!

We came for dinner on a Friday evening so the restaurant was busy and great vibe. We enjoyed our outdoors table and even when it drizzled later on there is a large canopy that extends over most of the outdoor tables so no worries there. We enjoyed a mixed grill for 2 which at £28 was very good value. Delicious, perfectly cooked ( we asked for medium and it was), and seasoned tenderloin and entrecote steak, veal ribs, chicken, sausage , black pudding and came with potatoes. Beer was well priced at £3 a pint. The herby salsa is great drizzled onto the meat for extra yumminess, so would definitely recommend trying this! Good selection of dishes on order and we had good service even on a busy Friday night. Great meal, we enjoyed our evening here and will be happy to return.

Lots of popular places are closed on Sunday afternoons so we put this 1 to the test. The quality and cooking of the food was disappointing and expensive compared with a lot of others. We had 4 tiny meat empanadas, a small tapas of stuffed mushrooms, a slice of dried out grilled chicken with 2 small potatoes, no wine just water and paid nearly £30. No excuse for bad cooking even on a Sunday.

We dived into this restaurant down a very busy street and have regretted it ever since. After ordering five dishes and have the waiter repeat them back, we were given two dishes that didn't seem like ours. One we returned, but we were told the other one was for us and the waiter even pointed to the menu, so, dubiously, we ate it. It turned out it wasn't meant for us, and it was double the price. We were forced to pay for it because we ate it. We did manage to get the bread rolls removed that we didn't order, or eat.

Great tapas restaurant in Irish Town, Gibraltar. Fantastic selection of food and staff were so helpful with our choices. All the food was amazing, absolutely delicious. The sangria was also excellent. We had beers, sangria, olives, bread and five tapas - our bill was only £46.70 and worth every penny. Highly recommend.

Don’t believe the poor reviews, yes the staff speak limited English but if you have a go in Spanish this is a great little place. Ate here tonight to avoid the touristy marina places and lots of places in the old town were closed. Didn’t have great expectations as we sat down fairly late on a Sunday evening but we were made to feel welcome and the food was fantastic, we shared the stuffed courgettes and stuffed mushrooms for starters and the mains were amazing. Simple but good, spiced grilled chicken and the bavette(skirt steak) with a chimmichurri (?) sauce was first class, some of the best simple grilled meat we’ve ever tasted, a cut that can be tough if not cooked right but this melted like butter. Great red Rioja by the glass. Deserves to be much higher up the list of restaurants in Gibraltar. Go and enjoy!

We went for launch and we had some meat, empanadas and provoleta chesse. Empanadas were very small compare with the real argentinean ones and of course the taste was wire. Something similar happen with the chesse, i'm not sure if it was provoleta or just cheese with some spices. The meat seemed reheated in the some way. In resume fake argentinean food and as Argentina, I don't recommend it at all

We have eaten fantastic steak all over the world and stumbled across this hidden gem whilst on a break in Gib. The beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection and the accompanying potato and Chimichurri salsa was something else wow wow wow! so good we ate there twice! Beautiful thanks! Ps. Avoid the curry and sushi place cock blocking them… and head straight to the yummiest beef you will eat ❤️

Came here at last minute late on Friday evening, as we ended up leaving another restaurant after waiting 45 mins to not get served! What a difference! lovely welcome by the waiter, drinks within minutes and recommendations on several of the dishes! Lots of variety for fish tapas and meat. We had an amazing meal and booked to come again tonight! Fantastic food, service and very reasonable. Great atmosphere too. Superb.

Great secluded location not far from Main Street. Excellent steaks from Argentina cooked to perfection . Served with baked potatoe which was a little undercooked. Lovely Ribero Del Duero wine. Efficient and friendly service. Poor presentation- just piled onto a small plate !

Had seen this place on previously, decided to visit. Was the only person there at 19:30. Menu was certainly different. Decided to go for a varied selection, chicken skewer, fried peppers, fried cheese, spicy meat pasty . Was given olives without asking, but charged for them, and same goes for the salsa. Not happy with that, though they were nice. So be aware and refuse them. Not cheap, couple of white wines, not cheap either. £33.75

Poor service. Average food. Waiter kept forgetting items from my order. He didn’t come to check if food was ok so had to chase to remind him. Ended up leaving early as I just got fed up. And it wasn’t even peak time either!

quite a hidden place. mainly for locals but has a holiday like feel to it. welcoming staff but there’s a language barrier. tables didn’t seem to be cleaned often but toilets were to a standard. food arrived at scattered time so not the best place when in a rush or in a big family.
