We had a nice lunch here, last week and enjoyed the entrecote with wild mushroom sauce! Service was friendly and the dining room very clean and tables were set with white tablecloth. Food and wine were fine and so was the ice cream we had as dessert. When we return to Santiago next time, we will surely return here.

Came in for menu de peregrino but waiter kept trying to sell us the chuleton. Mentioned it like 5 times and tried forcing us to order it, seemed like he was working on commision because it was 2.80 cheaper across the street. He had the same selling technique for the other tables. It was just a bit too much. Unfortuntely... More

I've eaten here a few times on visits to Santiago. A great Spanish restaurant with great service, good food and a friendly atmosphere.

Acceptable food and cleanliness, but sleazy business practices. Attempted to cheat us multiple times : twice by charging for desert and water that were already included in the 'menu del dia' package, and once more by forcing the transaction in USD when we not only did not ask for it, but we specifically said we wanted it in the default... On the busy Rua da Franco set back a little you find this Restaurant, it looks small but that is deceptive. The staff are very attentive , the food and wine are exceptional and the prices are reasonable. The staff struggle with the English language but it is in Spain after all. We had a Marisquada, it was superb, pricey... More

The restaurant was highly recommended by hotel staff. Glad we didn't judge it by its lack of ambience and went in. The waitress was mostly helpful and so proud of the restaurant. We asked for her help and she recommended the wine and dishes. The grilled octopus prepared simply melted in your mouth. The hake done the local way was... More

Ate here tonight. There is no outside space and from outside just looks like a bar but across the divide of mirrors there is a very pleasant air conditioned dining area. Good menu with plenty of meat dishes as well as all the usual fish choices. We had steak and veal. A choice other than fries with it would have... More

Terrible experience, poor quality of the food and a rude owner. Place and furniture are quite old. It is not worth the price.

This was recommended to us by our hotel as the best quality-for-price restaurant in Rua do Franco, and it was very good. Generous servings, excellent food, friendly service - defitely recommended.

I dined this evening at Sexto II at the recommendation of a concierge associated with the meeting I was attending, as it was in the Old Town and only 0.2 miles from my hotel. I had walked past earlier on the afternoon and the restauranteur advised me it would be open for dinner at "Ocho" or 8, par for the... More
