Wonderful food. Don't be put off by the japanese/peruvian/spannish fusion intro. It's just very, very good food. Lovely service, a very affordable wine list. Clearly Michelin trying to finally live in the modern word by giving it a star i.e. wooden forks here, so don't go if you're looking for creature comforts. Bookings only for tables of 8, otherwise the... More

Just a few steps from the Cathedral it would be easy to walk passed this restaurant without noticing it - and that would be a shame. Our party of 4 sat at the large sharing table - ample room and easy to check out what other people have ordered! The food is inventive and interesting. Great presentation. We ordered a... More

Following pilgrim's mass and the mighty botafumeiro's flight through the transept, the five of us descended upon Casa Marcelo, which was starting to fill up. Casual, passionate, trendy (for Galicia), friendly are all words that come to mind...and delicious. In spite of its almost unmarked storefront location in close proximity to the cathedral and to what looked like a bunch... More

Here you sit at the counter or share a long table with other guests. If you don't like it, just leave. If you are open minded or on your own this is a fun opportunity to have a great experience. Each dish is a state of art in apperance and the taste is wonderful. We spent both our dinners in... More

This was unexpectedly delicious with a fusion of Asian and European flavours. We allowed Martin to choose for us once he'd ascertained our likes and dislikes and we were not disappointed. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I hope they maintain the standard of excellence and the flare for experimentation. Martin also recommended a restaurant for us in Porto and... More

We went to dinner with high expectations given its Michelin star and high position in TripAdvisor. However we were very disappointed. Here are some reasons: 1. You cannot book a table unless you are a party of 8. 2. You do not sit at a table...instead you sit at a communal bench 3. The menu is only in Spanish 4.... More

We arrived in Santiago just before dinner and didn't have any particular ideas about where to eat. A quick scan on tripadvisor showed this place to be number 1 and the prices reasonable (even though clearly fine dining). We decided to have a look and were lucky to get the last couple of unreserved places along the counter style seating.... More

This is a very special and very unusual restaurant. We were not permitted to order from the delicious menu, and instead the charismatic chef asked us what we liked and designed the menu for us. Perched on high stools at a communal table, we were amazed at the array of delicious and exquisite dishes that were brought to us. A... More

The restaurant was supposed to open at 1330 for lunch and we were early so we waited around outside. We nearly left because the doors were still closed at 1340 but luckily we didn't as we ended up having a fabulous meal. Sitting on bar stools was a bit uncomfortable but we got a great view of all the chefs... More
