Just go! And let the chef make the menu for you! Loved it and I want to go back to Santiago just to try the other plates 😁 Fantastic food! By the way try everything but the Gilda is fantastic if you like raw fish.

Already before we began our walk on the Camino Ingles from Ferrol Santiago de Compostela, we decided to finish of with a treat. Found Casa Marcelo on the web and tried to book it. Not possible as we were only four, but together with our Spanish colleage Jose we managed to get a corner of a table. (All tables are... More

The restaurant is not large but it accommodated our group of 18. We more or less filled up the place. We chose the place for no other reason than its proximity to the hotel. We were glad we went in. The food was good and the staff was responsive. Conversation across the table was easy. My spaghetti had tasty sauce... More

Seriously cool and fun restaurant. We let the chef surprise us on both the food and wine fronts and were delighted with his choices. Top notch food, definitely a well-deserved michelin star. We sat at the bar on the kitchen, from where we got a great view of the frenetic and professional work going on to create the wonderfully varied... More

This 1 star Michelin restaurant definitely worth visiting. Perfectly located close to Plaza de Obraidoiro, with an excellent and funny Chef, an open-view kitchen and excellent Galician and Japanese food, very good wines, this place offers the right flavors for an enjoyable dinner. The large table is perfect for interacting with other people. Excellent atmosphere.

Tucked away in a nondescript building just down the hill from the stunning parador is this little gem of a restaurant. They do not take reservations and we feared not getting in, but we were there shortly after opening and were seated at the communal table (actually, I think all seating is communal). We put ourselves in the hands of... More

Amazing place not to be missed with special fusion cuisine with an asian and galacian mix. The setting is very informal with shared tables and wooden utensils, but the food is splendid! The cherry on the top are the prices: ~40€ per person on average for a Michelin starred restaurant!

Wonderful food. Don't be put off by the japanese/peruvian/spannish fusion intro. It's just very, very good food. Lovely service, a very affordable wine list. Clearly Michelin trying to finally live in the modern word by giving it a star i.e. wooden forks here, so don't go if you're looking for creature comforts. Bookings only for tables of 8, otherwise the... More

Just a few steps from the Cathedral it would be easy to walk passed this restaurant without noticing it - and that would be a shame. Our party of 4 sat at the large sharing table - ample room and easy to check out what other people have ordered! The food is inventive and interesting. Great presentation. We ordered a... More

Following pilgrim's mass and the mighty botafumeiro's flight through the transept, the five of us descended upon Casa Marcelo, which was starting to fill up. Casual, passionate, trendy (for Galicia), friendly are all words that come to mind...and delicious. In spite of its almost unmarked storefront location in close proximity to the cathedral and to what looked like a bunch... More
