I went here for lunch on the recommendation of my tour guide, only to find out that they don't start serving lunch until 2. Well, this is Spain, and this is more of a local restaurant than a tourist restaurant, so that was OK. They did have a menu for smaller, lighter items, and I chose the torta del casar... More

I went here with friends from the area. Between the four of us, we had red wine, a sliced meat tray and a cheese tray with lots of bread, especially garlic break. It tasted wonderful! Very authentic feel and local. Check it out!

Strong opening I know, but honestly, I ended up having a full blown argument which I have never done in my life. The attitude from the start was disgusting and then they charged us for a €25 bottle of wine which wasn't even on the menu so they couldn't show it. The worst behaviour in a restaurant I have ever... This restaurant was recommended by staff at the Costa Vella Hotel. It was only 150mtr away. There are lots and lots of places to eat in Santiago many packed with tourists. This place being further out was frequented by mostly spanish speakers. However there is a menu written in English. I recommend you sit upstairs as the downstairs is more... More

Local Restaurant away from the centre of the old town proved as good as your reviews had promised. Pleased that I booked as it was packed with locals and tourists. The quality and value was fantastic. I am so pleased to have followed the advice of others and found this gem !!

Decided on the menu of the day....and although the quality was acceptable, the size of dishes were not up to Galician standard.

Went here with the gf after it was recommended to us by our air bnb host. She went for the octopus, I went for the steak (galician beef entrecotte). Now I love my steaks so I was excited about this local specialty, but I was sorely let down. It was harder to cut than the sexual tension in a room... More

Spotted this restaurant on the way back to our hotel from visiting the city historical centre. Had a drink and looking at the menu decided that we would book for our last night. It did not disappoint. Good food ample portions and friendly service. Moderately priced too. One to try! It was full so booking probably advisable.
