We visited the restaurant after my husband picked the chefs up from an awards ceremony in London. The whole team at the restaurant in Gerona were so lovely and friendly and made us feel so welcome. The restaurant is just the right size and the ambience was just right. We chose the 14 course taster menu which had 4 small... More

In Oct 2015, we at last got a confirmed reservation for July 2016. As the date approached we were saddened to see that Cella con Roca had been pipped at the post by Osteria Francescana. But so what, we were still excited to be visiting the worlds best restaurant for two years running. From start to finish, the food, wine,... More

We were very disappointed with our visit here. Yes - it's a beautiful restaurant. Yes - the food is presented in a look-at-me gimmicky way. But, when all is said and done, if you strip away the razzmatazz it just doesn't taste that amazing. The food is mostly sous vide so if you look beyond the pleasing presentation in an... More

The experience starts from the moment you walk into the open plan restaurant with a wonderful balance between nature/light wood and lighting. The FOOD was out of this world experience and every dish tells a story with tasting :) If you manage to get a reservation to get into this place please go as you would never regret this!

The restaurant is very spacious but there are only 12 tables and 20 waiters in the room. They were very nice and attentive, they were always nearby but not too close (you don't have the drinks on the table, they serve you), without being noticed, so it was not stressful at all. We had the festival menu (14 dishes, without... More

One word "Fantastic!!! The duck magret is phenomenal. The "riñones al jerez" in the sampler is wonderful. The "postre láctico" is the best dessert in the world. Pairings are very specials. In summary the experience is unbelievable..

We had the Menu Festival with wine pairing. It was a superb experience from beginning to end! My favourites: oyster with smoked black garlic, decomposed prawn, the slow cooked beef & the chocolate desert. Amazing!

We were staying in Barcelona and made the voyage to El Celler because of its reputation. We were greeter upon arrival by a glass of wonderful cava. We were then offered a tour of the kitchen. What a treat that was. The food was outstanding - very creatively done. If you have the opportunity to go here, it is worth... More

This was a treat. A fine dining experience with all the bells and whistles. The service was excellent the food was off the chart and the wine pairing was sublime. This was entertainment from start to finish. I thank Joan Roca and all his team for a wonderful lunch.
